WARNING: Avoid Phillips Eye Center, unless you want to end up in collections over their shady billing practices.First red flag, they'll immediately ask you to give them a credit card and sign a waiver allowing them to charge you whatever they want. This is when I should have walked away.I waited 2.5 hours to be seen after my appointment. I paid the $35 co-payment on site. Apparently they should have charged me $40, but instead of a $5 dollar balance, they double-billed me another $35 copay. When I called to clarify the situation, Melissa H. was very rude and said she would not help me, and I had no other choice but to pay. I asked to speak to Dr. Phillips and she said Dr. Phillips was not interested in talking to me.A couple weeks later they sent me to collections with a $60 bill. How did a $5 balance turn into $60?Read the negative reviews and don't make the same mistake I did; find another practice.
