WARNING: Avoid Dawn Phillips or it will cost you
WARNING: Avoid Phillips Eye Center, unless you want to end up in collections over a shady billing practices. First red flag, they'll ask you to give them a credit card and sign a waiver allowing them to charge you whatever they want. This is when I should have walked away. I paid the $35 co-payment on site but apparently they were supposed to charge me $40. Instead of accepting my payment for the $5 dollar balance, they double-billed me another $35 copay. When I called to clarify the situation, Melissa H. was very rude and said she would not help me, and I had no other choice but to pay. I asked to speak to Dr. Phillips and she said Dr. Phillips was not interested in talking to me. Dr. Phillips wrote that she does 'not discuss bills with patients'. A couple weeks later they sent me to collections with a $60 bill. How did a $5 balance turn into $60?Read the negative reviews and don't make the same mistake I did; find another practice.

Seek help elsewhere for MGD/Blepharitis
Dr Dawn Phillips did not help me with my blepharitis and MGD. She offered no alternatively solutions after initial conservative treatment. She, with zero tact or empathy, told me my eyes would be inflamed for the rest of my life and there were no solutions. She did not offer to refer me to someone to remove the chalazions hardened in my eyelids. I asked to waive the cost of my last visit since no solutions or advice was offered and I was still charged. I highly recommend you find a healthcare provider who is more solution oriented

Dr. Dawn is FABULOUS! She always takes the time to make sure my husband and I understand all matters related to our eyes. Have found this practice very reliable and accessible...easily reachable in emergencies! Have had a varied wait times as unlike many practices...The Philips see emergent issues sometimes causing wait times to be longer. It isn't a bad idea to call before your appt. to inquire about expected wait times. Fabulous Ophthalmologists!!!! Dave & Denise Swanson

Dr. Dawn Phillips is a very respectful, compassionate, and caring Dr. who listens to you and addresses all questions/concerns you may have. In today's culture, it's rare to find a doctor who treats patients as if they are an extension of their family. Dr. Phillips does. I'm so blessed to have her perform my cataract surgery.
