“It’s not that important.”
I was discharged after a hospitalization for a stroke and was told to follow up with neurologists of cape cod immediately. I was offered an appointment 3 weeks out. When I explained the situation to the receptionist she said “we know. Dr. Markowska saw the paper work. He doesn’t think it’s that important.” I wish I was making that sentence up. In any case, I called mass general and they priority listed me and got me in in 3 days. The medical assistant at mass general told me that strokes are VERY important.
