Wilmer Eye Institute - Bethesda

I had high expectations for the Wilmer Eye Institute in Bethesda, given its stellar national and international reputation. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of the hype. After checking in, I had to endure an unreasonably long wait before actually seeing any medical staff. The lack of continuity between the check-in process and meeting with the eye care professionals only added to the frustration, as it felt like each step was disconnected, leading to inefficiency and confusion.Overall, the experience was frustrating and average at best. Given Wilmer Eye Institute's acclaimed status, I expected a more seamless and patient-friendly visit. It’s disappointing that despite their reputation, the level of service and organization leaves much to be desired.
