CEENTA SouthPark

So I went last year because I had symptoms that are similar to issues that are caused by diabetes. I got told my eyes were fine and they took pictures of my retina. Fast Forward a year ago and not only do I have the blurry that can be persistent but I developed a floater in my left eye. I got diagnosed with diabetic retinopathy. Suspicious of me not trusting the doctor that did diagnose it and not trusting the doctor that didn't I wanted the images that CEENT took. Supposedly they belong to someone else and that I have to petition to them and it has been a huge nightmare. They should be in the MyChart. But they aren't and apparently they won't be. I personally think they have something to hide. Why wouldn't they be there? Don't go to these people. There are way better places than these jokers.

Ceenta is a joke of a practice! They are the epitome of assembly line medicine that is ruining the health of this country. The doctor I saw seemed completely disinterested in talking about the reason I came to see him. He ordered an MRI and MRA for me and never contacted me with the results. The nurse was very rude to me for requesting my results and next steps. They sent me a bill and their system allowed me to set up a payment plan only to be told by their billing department that they don't do payment plans and that I had 90 days to pay the full balance before being sent to collections. MRI's are very quite expensive and the fact they won't work with you at all even if you want to set up a payment plan is absolutely ridiculous. They are a prime example of why medicine in this country is such a joke when compared to other developed nations. It seems to me that all they really care about is profit.

Worst experience ever with health care providers. I had to wait. The staff are cold and distant. Signs and text messages constantly threaten to charge you extra if you are late or no show. The doctor was monotone and stuck to a script and did not really address my questions. He said $1000 per eye would not be covered by insurance. Then setting up more appointments the staff said it was $2400 per eye. When I pointed out that my insurance actually covered specific services, the staff person said, "This is different". In the car on the way home I got a text that prescriptions were being sent and that I would be billed, because Insurance would not cover. I suspect it is all double billing, but I cancelled further appointments and found a great provider which insurance covers.
