Aggressive billing
Beware! The reason of my visit was a screening colonoscopy which is fully covered by my very high deductible insurance. As part of the visit I was asked by the Doctor if I had GERD. I replied that I had in the past but that whenever I have acidity I take Tums. The Doctor said then that I should have an endoscopy because some cancer might develop related to GERD. I said that I would think about it. For this exchange of words the Doctor billed my insurance as if I had visited them for GERD. I am contesting it. This was my only experience with this Doctor. I feel deceived. And I am very sorry to have to write this.
