I brought my dad to Academy Orthopedics after he was struggling for 2 years with incredible pain. Not only did they effectively manage the pain, but they completely cured him with a total hip replacement done by Dr. Craig Wright. My dad was walking after just a few days and after a month he often says he forgot he even had surgery! His mobility is back, his happiness is back, and his zest for life is back thanks to AO. He has 0 pain and is on 0 meds! From the first appointment, through surgery, and post op care, the team at Academy Orthopedics has been an absolute blessing!

I came to Dr. Pierce due to lingering and debilitating knee pain. I've been avoiding seeing a doctor for awhile because I did not want to deal with the usual super quick visits where the doctor tells me to take meds and then goes on to the next patient. Thankfully, I experienced the complete opposite here. Dr. Pierce took his time and allowed me to really break down my history with my knee pain. He spoke very clearly to me and just made me feel so at ease. The doctors here are intelligent, friendly and have genuine care for their patients. Highly recommended!!

Shoulder and knee pain brought me to AOC and my appointmetn was with Dr. Festa. He first checked on my shoulder and mis-diagnosed as tendonitis and told me stop being active and to take anti-flammitories for a month. Then when I asked about some knee pain I had been experiencing off an on, he brushed it off as 'not to worry about because I'm over 40' without even looking at it. My whole time with the doctor was probably less than 5 minutes. Luckily I got a script for Physical Therapy from my primary doctor, where my shoulder was correctly diagnosed and the knee pain was explained as a result of very tight leg muscles after a very thorough evaluation. I would not recommend this practice.
