My son suffered a sports injury to his knee. Dr. Scillia was recommended by our pediatric orthopedic physician to perform the surgery. His diagnosis and surgery recommendation were absolutely spot-on. His staff at his office AND the surgery center were extremely kind, efficient, and helpful. Dr. Scillia is current on cutting edge research and procedures. And, to top it off, he helped me help my son manage his pain through OTC ibuprofen and acetaminophen and ice packs as I did not want my son taking opioids. My son is recovering very quickly and with very little pain and discomfort.

Dr. Scillia is the kindest, greatest doctor around! After years of suffering hamstring pain, he was the ONLY doctor who properly diagnosed it, and then did surgery to re-attach the hamstring to the hip. 10 months AFTER the surgery, I wrote to him that the pain returned, and he scheduled me for a consultation with him. When he realized that my insurance had changed and was not under his office plan, he insisted that I still come for a free appointment. He is a genuine doctor, who really cares about his patients.

Dr Scilia performed a right shoulder replacement on me 2 years ago. To this day my shoulder is like new. No more constant pain or discomfort. No more sleepless nights. Dr. Scilia is one of the most informative and nicest people you will ever meet Dr.Scilia and his team are organized and very professional. He will never rush his patients and will address any and all concerns. Most importantly he is one hell of a surgeon!

Dr. Scillia performed rotator cuff and bicep tenodesis surgery on each of my shoulders five years apart (right shoulder in 2015 and left shoulder in February 2020). In both cases I could not have been more satisfied with Dr. Scillia, his staff (Alex, Erica etc...), and my results. Before discussing surgery, non-surgical options were considered. But being I had extensive damage (which was the case in each shoulder) these options did not provide relief from my pain, weakness, etc, which was not only getting in the way of my training, but even just everyday life. But after each surgery, the repaired shoulder felt stronger and more pain free than they have ever been. I am very excited because I train hard, and now I can do it pain free! Also, the time he takes to explain everything both before and after the surgery makes it seem like you are the most important patient he has. I HIGHLY recommend him!

Dr. Scillia, Erica and Alex are an amazing team! Every encounter with this office has been met with a professional yet warm and caring attitude. When no other doctor I consulted for my pain was willing to help me, Dr. Scillia was. He is an amazing surgeon, has a wonderful bedside manner and takes the time to listen carefully to his patients. He is truly concerned and it is evident in the care he provides. I am a health care professional as well and recommend him without hesistation.

usually don't give reviews but i think Dr Scillia and his staff certainly deserve one. I had my ACL and Meniscus fixed by Dr Scillia on Nov 6th 2016. Its now June and i have been back to running for the past 2 months and have been averaging 20 to 25 miles a week with minimal soreness. I think Dr Scillia did an excellent job on my knee. He has great bedside manners and i would highly recommend him. His staff is friendly, courteous and easily reachable.

Dr. Anthony Scillia is the most amazing Ortho Surgeon that I have ever met and/or researched. Other Ortho Surgeons told me I would never be at 100% with the type of knee reconstruction I would have to have but I decided to go with Dr. Scillia and I have 100% of my knee function with no pain. He's a great person and explains everything in detail so that I understand and is also more than willing to take his time answering my questions. He's half man, half amazing! The best!

Dr Scilia operated on both my shoulders for rotator cuff and torn biceps. My shoulders are much better than before. Within 3 weeks I regained full range of motion and my post surgery experience was virtually pain free. I am 64, and recently decline bench pressed 225 lbs. (not the doctors instructions). Dr Scilia did a GREAT JOB!!!!!!!!

I have played football most of my life and naturally my body has endured a number of injuries, some of which became rather debilitating. Dr. Scillia at NJOI was central to my rehabilitation and put me on the right path to recovery. He successfully repaired my lateral meniscus, my thumb and third metacarpal, and both shoulders. Dr. Scillia and his team provided excellent care while maintaining high standards of service. Thanks to them, I am able to lead an active and healthy life!
