BULLIED for needing to reschedule infant appt.!
I am a new parent who JUST got their baby from the NICU! The hospital discharged me with a follow up appointment for Houston Eye Associates at the Sugarland Location at 1pm (that’s on my discharge paperwork!) however the appointment ended up being at 11am. I called to reschedule at the same location because of the time mix up. I was informed that I have to bring my baby to a location over an hour away at a different location. I explained to the office that I had a condition that was unsafe for me to be on the hwy driving that long and that far currently and to please reschedule for the Sugarland location. The office stated they did not have any other appointments at that location for the next 2 weeks and if I didn’t come with my baby for her screening they would REPORT ME FOR NON COMPLIANCE! How is that non compliance when I asked to reschedule my baby for a location closer to the area I live in! I told them this is BULLYING! I WILL move my baby to a location near our home after this!
