Dr. Abby Gardner, MD

Best Doctor I have ever had… she listens to what you have to say and treats you with respect and kindness.

My Experiences with Dr. Gardner and her predecessors have all been excellent. However, since she left IMED has not hired her replacement nor are any of the other providers accepting her patients at the Stone Oak location. Not good.

we have been told Dr. Gardner is leaving IMED in June 2020. Would like to follow her if she goes to another practice. Please advise

I was with Dr. Benson for many years. When he retired I was hoping for someone to take over his practice that I would have full confidence in. Boy, did I ever get that in spades! Dr. Gardner is top-notch in all respects. She is very respectful, patient, and simply a great person. Anything I need to discuss, she is willing to give me the time to share my thoughts. Like her a lot!

I have been a patient of Dr Gardner since she first joined IMED. She always listens and addresses your concerns. Long term health management is the goal. When necessary, Dr Gardner will refer you to a specialist but definitely continues to be involved in managing total patient care. I am a lucky guy to be able to call Dr Gardner “my doctor” – and highly recommend her.

Dr. Gardner is friendly, thorough, and prepared and is a great listener. She takes her time with you and notes all that is said. I hope to be with her for many years to come.

First and foremost Dr. Gardner listens to the patient. From there she addresses every concern with her knowledge or refers me to a specialist. Bottom line, I feel 'cared for' and on the road to recovery when I leave her office at IMED.

I took my father for an appt for a multitude of issues he was having. Dr. Gardner was very patient and attentive. It was a lengthy visit and she never made us feel rushed and addressed all of our concerns and issues. Her office staff was pleasant and the office was very clean and well-maintained.

Dr. Gardner helped me select a new medicine for a health concern that has developed. She answered questions I had about the side effects and put me at ease.

Dr Gardener listens carefully and her approach to medicine is practical yet thorough.

I needed to get a pre-op exam for eye surgery but did not have an appointment until March. The office was able to expedite an appointment within a couple of days. Dr. Gardner and stuff were warm, accommodating and efficient as always.

I’ve been an IMED patient for many years and have always appreciated the administrative staff, as well as, the medical professionals...Doctors, nurses and medical assistants. Dr. Abby Gardner is my primary care physician and regularly monitors laboratory data and reviews my medical history including a review of prescribed medications. Dr. Gardner is very responsive to potential medical emergencies and makes appropriate medical referrals to other medical specialties. Overall I’m very pleased with IMED and Dr. Abby Gardner. The facilities are modern and conveniently located in the Stone Oak area.
