Professional but not knowledgeable
Dr. Berlinberg was professional and appeared to listen and respond to my concerns. However, I had the impression he decided I was not a candidate before our appointment began. He appeared knowledgeable on classical rheumatic symptoms and qualitative evaluations. In contrast, he frequently emphasized false statistics, and his explanations were incomplete. Dr. Berlinberg displayed minimal expertise in the complexity of autoimmune disease in the context of adjacent health factors. This includes: preparing no discussion for 1. the anti-inflammatory effects of my psychiatric medications, 2. the effect of my prescription corticosteroids for my severe asthma, and 3. ASD-related autoimmune disregulation. Evidence supports these treatments reduce antigen presentation, and my conditions to all be comorbid with rheumatic disease. Denver Arthritis Clinic promises a personalized and cutting edge approach. I did not receive personalized and cutting edge care.
