Dr. Adam Thorp, MD

Dr. Thorp did arthroscopic surgery on my knee. As far as knowledge and capability, Dr Thorp is fine. He does, however, lack bedside manner. He is just very to the point, and that is fine. At my follow-up visit, he asked me if I had any questions. I asked if I could tell him a couple concerns I had about the surgical center where my surgery was performed. He was open to that. I shared two significant items with him, both due to negligence, and his reaction was disheartening. One of the issues was down right scary and the other left me with a huge bruise that will probably take several weeks to go away. He basically took up for his colleagues and told me that the surgical center was one of the best in the state. Well, I certainly won’t return to this surgical center and, after his less caring reaction, I will not be returning to Dr. Thorp. I can get past his lack of bedside manner, but I do expect a doctor of mine to take my concerns seriously and not just brush them off.

He is very thorough and has helped me so much. Very nice and takes his time with his patients. Love Wanda

Dr. Thorp IV very honesty and trustworthy mannerisms ?? he listen to concerns of his patients with understanding to relieve from pain with professionalism at all times with patience! ???? he’s the best I’ll tell everyone I know suffering with arthritis to see Dr Thorp I V???? Thanks Tracy Williams
