dismissive
The pain medication started to wear away during the procedure and when I started to cry out in pain, he shushed me. After the procedure, when I talked to him about it and how dismissed it made me feel, he told me that I was scaring the other patients. Obviously a person yelling out in pain should concern other people, including the doctor. Ultimately, he was dismissive of my experience and had not given any indication that pain medication wearing away during the procedure was possible. Everyone else was kind and empathetic to my experience.

I had a colonoscopy in December 2017 with Dr Abdulkarim, in which he never discussed any expectation of the procedure, or possible problems that may arise. He did the colonoscopy, and ended up bruising my colon, which put me in the ER the next day. When I was experiencing pain in my right side, I called his office, and they advised me to have a CT scan at the ER. The CT scan showed that he had not puncture my colon, and it took a week for the bruising pain to go away. In addition to having a
