Dr. Gillinov was fabulous .I had mitral valve repair surgery . The process from beginning to end was remarkable . His knowledge , candidness and sense of humor were 2nd to none. My twin Broghrf met him during my surgery . Once he met him , my brother knew he wanted to have Gillinov perform the surgery . He is flying in from Conn Wed 12/3. I would recommend Dr. Gillinov to everyone I know that needed any kind of open heart surgery.

Dr. Gillinov is excellent, he went over my complicated heart problem and set me up for heart surgery with Dr. Soltesz who performed full maze procedure which corrected my A/F -A/F( without taking any medications). Great Job!!! and Great Team.

Dr. Gillinov is extremely knowledgeable, professional and genuinely cares about the patient going into surgery. He takes time to explain procedures and calm any fears about cardiac surgery. He is attentive post-operatively as well as after discharge. He is easily accessible. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing valve repair.

I was referred to Dr Gillinov and Cleveland Clinic by several physicians. I considered having my procedure (mitral valve repair) done in FL for convenience/travel issues, but after talking to Dr Gillinov and doing much research, it was clear he was the perfect choice. Cannot say enough about his demeanor, thorough explanations - the procedure was perfect and I would highly recommend CC for anything cardiac related.
