Excellent. Over 40 years with Dr Hefner. Shocked when they rescheduled my annual appointment and said he had retired. He will be missed. He was the best.

Dr. Hefner exudes expertise and warmth. He gives a very thorough exam, explains results in easy to understand way, and reassures when needed. I first was seen in a emergency situation, will keep returning. Everyone was so professional yet personable.

I came here for a second opinion after a very bad experience at a different MD. I am so glad I did. Dr. Hefner and his staff were amazing. I didn't wait long to be seen. Everything was explained thoroughly as we went along. Dr. Hefner is funny, empathetic and I felt confidence in what he was telling me.

Staff, technicians, and doctor all very friendly, professional and thorough. I've been going there for a retina condition for years, this was my first time with Dr. Hefner. Highly recommend Fox Valley Ophthalmology.
