Acceptable care, Horrid billing
The care was fine. The billing on the other hand was a nightmare. We had to go in three times total. I paid my deducible 3 times even though the last visit cost less than my deductible according to my insurance. The last payment was made in person to verify that we were caught up on payments. They STILL sent a bill to COLLECTIONS! No voicemail, no email, just regular mail bills. No online payment options or even pay by phone.

Got a really bad staph infection.
Do your research...... After removing cancer from my arm, I ended up with a very bad staph infection and ugly scar. I dont think that sanitary measures were good enough.

Quick, Accurate, Efficient
I have been seeing Dr. Parks for years. He cured me of a serious condition, and regularly treats potential problems for me. Dr. Parks works quickly, but he knows what he's doing. The results are excellent. I highly recommend him.

Terrible
Look elsewhere for a Dermatologist. I had developed several skin conditions that I didn’t know existed until I saw a different dermatologist. Melasma (caused by an antibiotic that Dr Parks continued to prescribe and is the hardest hyperpigmentation to treat), a form of rosacea that I didn’t know existed (I never had flushing), and rhinophyma, which is caused by the untreated rosacea (and can lead to skin cancer). I’ve spent $10k trying to resolve these issues, including rhinoplasty and two rounds of dermabrasion to try to reshape my nose (the rhinophyma has returned), and BBL treatments for the melasma. I’m now taking two prescriptions to try and control the severe rosacea, if this doesn’t work, my new dermatologist and I will need to meet with the plastic surgeon, again. Under no circumstances would I ever see Dr. Parks again.

Fantastic dermatologist
Dr Parks knows his stuff. Some people state he doesn’t have a great bed side manner but I like he is to the point. That’s what matters

Dr. Parks treats his office like a drive thru. Got charged $82 per visit where he spent maybe 5 minutes in the room. I received injections to my scalp for alopecia and his bedside manner is appallingly terrible. No sympathy or genuine concern at ALL. I was dripping blood on to my face and he abruptly left the room. His staff is so nice and all the girls are so sweet, which slightly makes up for Dr. Parks

Extremely horrible customer service. Catherine (sp?) at the East side location is very rude and unprofessional. This office doesn't return phone calls. It's like jumping through hoops and ladders to get anything done. I will filing a complaint with the State Medical Board. I refuse to be disrespected and treated like I'm just another number.

I saw Dr. Parks last week for my acne. Although acne is very embarrassing to me, Dr. Parks recommended a product that I received results in 4 days. I can't thank him enough.

Bedside manner not good. Spent less than five minutes in the room and took no time to really examine my scalp. Simply said that his five second examination told him everything. Said I had a form of Alopecia where my hair wouldn't grow back. Didn't need a biopsy of my scalp because he could tell by what he saw. Hair seems to be growing now with other methods where he said it would not grow back.

Dr. Parks is an excellent, amazing doctor. He is very kind, friendly, professional, and extremely competent. He listens to my concerns and explains medical conditions very clearly and understandably. I totally trust his recommendations and decisions. 14 years ago, he noticed something on my calf. I'm sure he knew exactly what it was because he scheduled me to come in the next morning before office hours to remove it and it was a melanoma. Dr. Parks saved my life and I will be forever grateful.

First visit with Dr. Parks was good. He was timely, polite, helpful, although not very thorough at looking at my skin. When the medicine he prescribed didn't do the job,I went back for a 2nd visit.I asked for different/stronger medicine. He told me there is no other medicine and I have to just deal with it. I ended up getting a 2nd opinion was told that there are many types of treatments we can try. Dr. Parks' bedside manner is great but his care is lacking. I would NOT recommend him.

Very poor bedside manners. Did not bother to call me with my biopsy results which were abnormal. No apologies. My results were pre-cancerous. Follow up buopsy delayed by 2 months. Icing on the cake, I gave them permission to charge co-pay $90 to my credit card and they charged $660, which I have disputed. Strongly recommend not to go to Dr. Park. I should mention that I am a physician myself.
