Unsympathetic Service
I faced an astounding lack of accountability today the below listed appointment:'New patient tubal litigation consult McFadden; Womans Pelvic Care 6621 Gulton CT ne 87109; Jan 22 2024 at 10 am 20 min early checkin'where I was scheduled for a surgical consultation for a tubal litigation with Dr. Brook McFadden who according to the website is specialized 'in vaginal, laparoscopic, and robotic surgeries'. Instead I was met with a papsmear set up and Dr. Alana Williams, a provider who was unaware of my purpose and unfit to serve my needs as a patient. I inquired if I'd be able to see the surgery provider in my scheduled appointment time since the misunderstanding was the clinics. Dr. Alana Williams was unable to make any assurances or amends to me the patient and made it clear I would have to reschedule the appointment at the mercy of the clinics booking. This is an unacceptable resolution to me because I waited over three months for this consultation today.

At my first appointment, Doc asked if I want an intern do exam, I said no, I waited 5 months for this appt by a doctor. No follow up on Rx and how to use it. I asked via portal and via medical assistant. One month later I don't know if they got my records, no response on that either. That was my last appointment. CHAOS - the patient is always wrong kind of office

Do not see her if you expect quick treatment. It took two months to get a consultation and follow ups were a month apart. She did an uncomfortable bladder test on me and incorrectly diagnosed me with overactive bladder without doing an ultrasound. I got a second opinion and was properly diagnosed with urinary retention and successfully treated. Do not waste your time on her if you have a bladder issue. She is not a board certified urologist.

Dr Williams made it seem like she had the training to properly removed endometriosis from me but she chooses a method in which that has a 80 percent recurrence rate ( ablation ). she does not have enough training to treat this disease properly, she is not an excision specialist. if you are considering surgery for removal of endo i suggest nancy's nook endometriosis on fb to find the correct doctor .

I'm supposed to have surgery to remove a 9 cm tumor in a couple weeks , I've been waiting for this appointment for almost 3 months and she is barley running blood work to see if it's cancer . Why hadn't she done this months ago when I was seen the first time?

I highly recommend Dr. Alana Williams. She is the best doctor that I have ever had. She is caring, considerate, has a wonderful bedside manner, and is extremely knowledgeable. She answered any questions that I had. After meeting with her, my surgery was scheduled less than a month later! The surgery went great. Today, I am almost 7 months post-hysterectomy and I have never felt better! Thank you so much, Dr. Williams!

I have seen Dr Williams a few times now hoping things would get better. They did not. Dr Williams does not express concern nor does she listen shes rushes thru appointments. Take the time find someone else if you want quality care.

Dr. Willams has been my Dr. for the past 3yrs. but now they use NP. which at the first visit with the N.P I was very unhappy she was in and out in no time to busy to listen to what I had to say had to call back and talk with her about my appt, that was 3mos ago. I decided to to back thinking maybe the NP had a bad day. When I went in I told her first of all I need to let you know how I felt about my last appt. and I let her know I was not going to come back as a pt. but I gave it another try ok.

I was quite shocked to see the positive reviews.I had been in chronic pain for over a year and went to have a surgical consult with Dr. Williams who informed me that it was nothing more than muscle spasms. I ended up having surgery for this problem which was a 4.0 cm Mass on my vaginal cuff. Fortunately the tumor was benign. What if it had been cancer? Cancer left untreated is an extremely painfull death sentence. Not to mention what it does to your loved ones. Always get a 2nd opinion!

Dr. Williams praticed rushed appointments, does not demonstrate real concern for patient welfare, does not return phone calls when there is an emergent issue. Neither she nor her office follow-up on patient concerns. Recommend finding another GYN practice.

Not concerned with what a patient is going through. Long wait times for appointments then rushed in and out. Judgment zone. No regard or concern for patient suffering. Could not handle simple referrals or prescriptions. Office manager is nuts and beyond rude. Horrible experience.
