Great Doctor
Have been going to Dr. Kim for 15 years now and he literally saved my life. Had heart attack in 2008 and he put in a stent and angioplasty. Had 2nd procedure in 2015 to insert 2nd stent. He did both procedures. Have no issues. Cannot recommend him more. Have sent friends to him and they are doing great.

Don't go to this doctor
My dad had been a patient of Dr. Kim for around 2 years. My parents had decided to move out of Virginia and my dad needed a referral to give his new doctor. When we called Dr.Kim, the receptionist picked up said that she did not know what a referral was, when it is standard knowledge for doctors to know how to write a referral. We asked to talk to the doctor and the receptionist kept saying that Dr. Kim was unavailable to talk when we could hear him next to her. When we said that we could hear the doctor, she said that Dr. Kim did not want to talk to us. All we needed was a simple referral and the receptionist was so rude to us and unhelpful. When we told my dad's new doctor that we couldn't get a referral because they didn't know what a referral was, our new doctor started laughing and said every doctor knows what a referral is. Dr.Kim and his office does not care about their patients and from the other review here I can see this is a pattern. Highly suggest going to another doctor.

If I could give Dr. Kim a negative rating, I would. My elderly father had triple bypass surgery and Dr. Kim prescribed him a blood thinning medication that caused him to bleed internally. After experiencing vertigo and loss of appetite for a month and repeatedly asking Dr. Kim if the medication he prescribed may be causing issues, his only response was to refer my dad to his primary care physician. Dr. Kim doesn't call his patients back himself even when his patients ask to speak to the doctor directly. He doesn't care about his patients. I strongly urge you to NOT be a patient of Dr. Kim's - go elsewhere.

Dr. Albert seemed too candid, lackadaisical, and a little unprofessional regarding bedside manners. He also seemed a little ambiguous when offering me his input after I told him about my symptoms. Wouldn't recommend this place.
