Professional, efficient, reliable and easy to talk
My son has been struggling for many years with ADHD, anxiety and depression. It has been a difficult path for my family. Dr Escallon, my son’s psychiatrist, has been wonderful throughout this process! He is professional, efficient, reliable and easy to talk to. My son trusts and feels comfortable talking to him. Dr. Escallon has supported and helped my family through a crucial period of our life. We had some emergency decisions to make and he helped through the way coordinating care with other professionals. I am grateful for having him in my family’s life!!!

Dr. Escallon declared that my child had no learning disability without examining the child, talking to the teachers who had suggested a possible learning disability, or speaking to the referring pediatrician. Fortunately, the child later received appropriate treatment.

While working at Mt. Sinai, Dr. Escallon gave what purported to be an authoritative diagnosis of my child without examining the child or ordering clinical testing. My child suffered severely as a result. The child had a minor and easily corrected learning disability that I described accurately to Dr. Escallon (during my interview with him).
