Great Doctor!

For starters, Dr.Zarak is the most amazing and caring human being I have ever received medical care from. His compassion and bedside manner makes you feel comfortable from the very beginning. The time he takes explaining the surgery and your care overall shows that he knows in detail what he is doing. My surgery and recovery went very smooth. You can easily tell he is a great surgeon and really cares about his patients. He even came to check on me in the middle of the night.

Very kind and considerate doctor. He is also extremely knowledgeable and skilled at his craft. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Zarak! He did a gastric bypass on me and it has truly changed my life. He took the time to explain the differences in surgery options and made me feel comfortable with my decision. He visited me in the hospital multiple times and was always available to answer any questions I had. I was out of the hospital within two days! I have lost 80 pounds so far following his diet and exercise advice post surgery. I have never felt better in my life, I recommend anyone to take the leap and consider this surgery with Dr. Zarak because it is truly life changing!

Dr. Zarak took all the time I needed to explain the surgery to me, he is very friendly and an expert in bariatric surgery.

I underwent bariatric surgery with Dr. Zarak and I cannot say enough great things about my experience. Dr. Z is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and thorough. Every visit leading up to my surgery, he spent ample time to make sure I was comfortable and guided me through the process. The surgery went without complications and I feel better than I ever have. They wanted to put him in a coma, and he was aspirating. and the doctor said there was nothing they could do then they call up to ICU and they called in Dr Sarak who then explained everything to us they got him breathing after a couple of days then Dr Zarak was able to put a peg tube in so he could eat because he could not swallow or talk and was very helpful and sat in the ICU room with us and was the best and keep coming and checked him and got him better to come home and every time I called to ask the office questions he would call us himself and answer them I would not ever go to anyone else its been almost a year and the tube needs to be fix and he is going to replace it he really cares about his patents and the office manager is the best lady she helped us when someone messed up the appointment when we showed up and said I will get in for a visit

He took out my gallbladder in July 2023 and destroyed my insides. He should not be doing surgery.

He didn’t listen and he was so rude. Don’t go to this doctor. He shouldn’t be in the medical field.

Dr. Zarak seems to be very knowledgeable and proficient, but his presentation was rather rude. At one point, he described it as being "rather blunt" and said that if he was setting in the chair that I was, it would be what he wanted to hear. However, he was not sitting in the chair and I felt that his manner and presentation was quite rude. I understand that sometimes a "tough love" approach is required, but that is not what this seemed like.

He’s an amazing surgeon and a wealth of knowledge

Dr. Zarak removed my daughters gallbladder when she was 5 months pregnant and he did an excellent job! He also found a mass on her liver during surgery and informed us to follow up after the baby was born. We had been to 3 different hospitals trying to get her some help and they all refused to do the surgery because she was pregnant. Dr. Zarak informed us about the risks but left the decision up to my daughter who was living in agony. We are so grateful and would always recommend Dr. Zarak.
