Dr. Alejandro Ramirez, MD

We have seen Dr Ramirez twice now with our 8 year old son. He was also on call during our trip to the ER and was extremely concerned and urgent with finding out what was really going on with him. He listened to our concerns and did not hesitate to investigate further even with being fully booked. He performed an Endoscopy/Colonoscopy on him and was very thorough, kind and communicative throughout he entire process. He answered all our questions and made sure we knew all possible complications. He was compassionate with our son, and showed he is both knowledgeable but also caring. He genuinely wants to help children and parents navigate difficult times. I would highly recommend this Physician.

Although Dr. Ramirez is knowledgeable in his trade, communication was extremely challanging. There was no follow up after he performed an endoscopy on my son, he left before my son came out of sedation and refused to call back when my son woke up and had questions. He solely gave messages through his nurse when I insisted on talking with him. Also, cost of the procedure was discussed in initial visit as we were self pay. We were expecting $1k-2k but were billed for over $7k.
