Dr. Casteel is wonderful with children, knowledgeable, patient and informative. However, her Office Manager destroys the experience to the extent that it's not worth the pain. The billing process is inefficient and unreliable and there is no effort made to improve the experience. Customer service is non-existent. Unfortunately, all of this is a detriment to Dr. Casteel's practice.

Dr. Casteel herself is very knowledgeable . She was very thourough however isn’t very personable. The office atmosphere was cold and poor. Not something a kid likes to visit also the staff was not friendly with the exception of the male nurse he made the experience bearable. I was told that there are only 2 pediatric gastroentologist in the State so if you have to use someone she is knowledgeable. Just not the overall experience I would like

Absolutely the worst experience I could of had. Tried to make appointment for my daughter and the staff could not have been more rude. To the point that I am flying my daughter to Boston to see a different GI. just so I don't have to deal with them again!!!

If you have insurance that they have not contracted with, they will not accept self pay. Even if you offer several thousand dollars as a retainer to prove you are able to pay for tests and procedures.

Incompetent, unprofessional and rude staff. I waited 2 MONTHS to get my daughter in, and they called 1 HOUR before our appt, saying they wouldn't accept our insurance. I was already on the road driving from Hot Springs at this time. When I arrived and was obviously upset at the situation, they didn't care in the least and wouldn't even take responsibility, saying it was my fault because they'd "been trying to reach me for some time" which was a blatant LIE. I received no contact from them before

Waited for one hour and twenty minutes past my appointment time. Unfortunately, there are not many options in this field. My child was not very comfortable in the office environment. Their opinion is "it was run-down, cheap, uncomfortable, looked like they could pack up and leave in the night."

Terrible staff, rude receptionist, nothing but a money hungry office that needs to learn how to speak to people with respect! I've never been treated so poorly....they call themselves professionals but they are anything BUT professional.
