The team that surrounds Dr Orem is amazingly efficient and skillful. My surgery went exactly as planned and the recovery proceeded ahead of schedule.

From beginning to end of my knee replacement surgery Dr. Orem and his team provided clear concise communication. During the decision process he answered all my questions, (no matter how many times I asked them). The communication around the surgical process and follow up was also clear and supportive. The surgery was exactly what was described and the follow up care was great. Dr. Orem and his team continued to be available through out my healing process.

Loved the previous poster's comment that Dr Orem's eye contact alone could achieve peace in the Middle East. That sort of personality not necessarily expected in a surgeon, but very much appreciated. Yes, and top notch surgical skills, too.

Dr. Orem changed my life! I was in severe pain for over 20 years! Dr. Orem and his staff were friendly, knowledgeable, professional and caring. All my questions were answered with detailed explanations. While terrified of complications......after speaking with Dr. Orem I felt calm, comfortable and confident that surgery would go well.My recovery was relatively pain free and within 3 weeks I could walk without any assisting devices. (Cane, walker, wheelchair). I wish I had found him 20 years ago.

I had my hip replaced the first time in 1994 when I was 33. It was replaced by dr. Harris at Mass. General hospital. I just receintly had it replaced again on Jan. 13th 2023 by Dr. Orem. I was only in the hospital for one night and the wrap around services with Dr. Orem's team were unbelievable.. I felt very cared for and looked after before and after My procedure! My hip is is great shape and I am no longer in pain! I would recommend Dr. Orem to anyone needing a hip rrplacement! He's the man!
