Dr. Childs is an amazing person. She has been kind, professional and very transparent. She explained all of my options prior to my surgery, genuinely cares about her patients and has the best bedside manner. She makes you feel heard and makes sure you understand what was discussed before you leave each appointment. I have already referred a few family members and friends.

My visit was overall great. The nurse technician was amazing, she gave me 2 options and in my opinion did not need to give me any and followed what I wanted. Dr. Childs was also very good. She was thorough as well and explained to me what I may go through. So she let me know what I need to be on the look out for. She was great as well.

It would be helpful if the doctor would inform the appointment staff that if a patient calls in to schedule an appointment for menopausal hormone therapy, (that the doctor knows she will not provide based on the patient’s age), the staff should tell the patient at the appointment scheduling time. It is a waste of time and money for the patient to come in and be told by the doctor at that time that hormone therapy treatment is not given at your age. The patient’s age is given at the appointment scheduling time. Why have the patient come in and charge them and bill the insurance company knowing this information in advance?

I had a great experience with Dr. Childs for my well-woman exam. Although I was initially nervous, she explained everything in detail and never made me feel rushed. Throughout the exam, she set expectations for each step, guiding me and putting my mind at ease.

At every stage, she closely monitored my health and the development of my babies, ensuring I felt informed and confident. Dr. Childs saved my life!
I went to see Dr. Childs after having years of abnormal bleeding. I had a gynecologist previously who identified that I had fibroids, but decided to wait to treat until they became bigger. I was referred to switch to Dr. Childs by my PCP, and have been so grateful that I did. She literally saved my life! She evaluated my condition, and she sat down to discuss with me the best treatment plan based on MY decision. She performed my complicated surgery flawlessly, and I am no longer suffering with any of the conditions I'd been struggling with for years. I will refer her to any patient who wants a doctor who is not only accessible, but listens and actually cares about her patients' health. She is awesome!
