Dr. Alicia McIntosh is a Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist who founded Bella Obstetrics & Gynecology along with four of her colleagues in January 2020. She is originally from Waco, Texas, but moved to Fort Worth, Texas for college. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from TCU in 2004 with a degree in Chemistry. She was inducted into the national honor societies Phi Beta Kappa and Mortar Board. Dr. McIntosh had an amazing opportunity to live and study in Paris, France at La Sorbonne- University of Paris in 2002. In 2009, she earned her Medical Doctorate from The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Dr. McIntosh completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Memorial Hermann Hospital in 2013. In residency, Dr. McIntosh received the Residency Research Award for the top research project. The focus of her research was a basic science aspect of infertility. She has been in private practice since 2013. Dr. McIntosh has been honored as one of Houston's "Top Doctors" by H-Texas Magazine for 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019. She was also named by Texas Monthly as a Top Doctor in Texas "Rising Star" in 2017, 2018 and 2019. She was also voted one of Houstonia Magazine's Top Doctors in 2019 which is voted on by other physician peers in Houston.Dr. McIntosh has a strong passion for women's health. Dr. McIntosh found her calling in OB/Gyn. It combines primary care medical problems and continuity with emergency and surgery all while caring for not only one but sometimes two patients. There is nothing as emotional and fulfilling as bringing a new life into the world! It never gets old. From the gynecologic side, having the ability to skillfully use her hands in the operating room to improve a patient's quality of life is beyond rewarding. The joy of building a relationship and guiding women through all stages of life from the teens to reproductive years to menopause and beyond is indescribable and fulfilling. In her spare time, Dr. McIntosh enjoys traveling, shopping, designing jewelry, and spending time with her husband, Chris, and their children, Hunter, Carlyle, and Cole.

Biography: This physician is accepting telehealth visits. Dr. Kristin Brigger is a Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist. She grew up in Beaumont, Texas where she enjoyed the benefits of growing up in a small town. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences. In 2006, she earned her Medical Doctorate from The University of Texas Medical School at Houston. Dr. Brigger completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Memorial Hermann Hospital in 2010. During medical school, Dr. Brigger was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha national medical honor society during her junior year. In residency, Dr. Brigger received the Residency Teaching Award and was an Administrative Chief Resident from 2009-2010. Dr. Brigger has been voted as a "Texas Super Doctor Rising Star" in Texas Monthly Magazine every year. She has also received Vitals "Patient Choice" award for multiple years. Dr. Brigger is committed to developing lifelong relationships with her patients. She enjoys being able to guide women through all the phases of a woman's life and her health needs. Biography: This physician is accepting telehealth visits. Dr. Shaunna Mason is a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist. Although she is not a Houston native, she has been happy to call Houston home for the past 15 years. Originally from Greenville, TX, a small town in East Texas, she knew very early on that she wanted to be a physician and care for families. After graduating high school, she attended Rhodes College in Memphis, TN earning Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority and the Biology Honor Society. During her time in Memphis, she enjoyed volunteering at St. Jude's Children's Hospital. She also spent time at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital where she participated in an undergraduate pediatric internship, as well as outside research in infection disease with a focus in RSV. In 2004, she relocated to Houston, TX to pursue her medical doctorate at The University of Texas Health Science Center Houston. During medical school she participated in teaching through the JAMP undergraduate pre-med program with a focus in embryology. She was also a member of the American Medical Women's Association and graduated in the top 1/3 of her class. Given her ongoing love of caring for women through different seasons of life, she pursued her intern and residency training the Obstetrics and Gynecology. She completed her training from the University of Texas Health Science Center Houston and Memorial Hermann Hospital in 2012. During her time in training, she served on the residency selection committee and was selected as Outstanding Chief Resident in Laparoscopic and Minimally Invasive Surgery. She has been practicing in the Greater Houston Area ever since where she continues to foster lasting relationships with her patients. She has been named a Rising Star of Texas, Top Doctor in Texas Monthly and one of Houston's Top Doctors several times throughout her 7.5 years in private practice. She maintains privileges at The Woman's Hospital of Texas, in the Texas Medical Center. She provides full obstetric care, including preconception counseling, infertility, high-risk pregnancy and focused postpartum care. She enjoys seeing her patients build the families of their dreams. She also provides full gynecologic services including well-health exams, adolescent care and menopause. For gynecologic problems that cannot be improved with life-style changes or medications, she always attempts to provide minimally invasive surgical options including laparoscopic and hysteroscopic outpatient surgery. She plans to pursue her certification in robotic surgery, Da Vinci in the near future. When not with her patients, she enjoys time with her family: her husband Chad, native New Orleanian, and three children, Henry, Eloise and George. She also loves her aging King Charles Spaniel, Winston. She enjoys running the beautiful parks of Houston, gardening in her backyard box vegetable garden and loves expanding her culinary horizons both at home and away.

Biography: This physician is accepting telehealth visits. Latasha Steele, M.D. is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr Steele practices at Bella Obstetrics and Gynecology. She delivers infants and performs surgeries at The Woman's Hospital of Texas.Dr. Steele grew up in a small town in Oklahoma and became a highly touted track and field high school athlete. While earning a coveted track scholarship to the University of Notre Dame, she received honorary distinctions as a scholar-athlete & monogram award winner. She then graduated with a degree in psychology and pre-professional studies.Dr. Steele received her 2009 medical degree from the University of Kansas. She became interested in obstetrics while working in a birth center community health project and helped coordinate health supply drives for low-income women.In 2013, Dr. Steele completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas at Houston, where she graciously served as Administrative Chief Resident.She is a member of the North American Society of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology (NASPAG).Dr. Steele and her husband, a retired Captain in the United States Army, have made Houston their permanent home.Dr. Steele is very passionate about women's health care and she strives to maintain long-term relationships with all of her patients.Dr. Steele is most interested in preventative obstetric and gynecologic medicine, adolescent gynecology, minimally invasive surgery, and health-related fitness.Dr. Steele is also interested in being a leader for women's health care on both the national level and in her community, as this has been reflected in her serving in a multitude of committees and high leadership positions over the past several years. Biography: Dr. Margaret Markham is an obstetrician-gynecologist providing OB/GYN care with Houston Women's Care Associates (HWCA) in Houston, TX. Dr. Markham is passionate about obstetrics and gynecology because she values taking care of patients throughout their lifetime- from adolescence to pregnancy to menopause- and with every change along the way. The ability to establish a trusting, lasting relationship in this field is unrivaled, and she is privileged to take care of women at some of the most exciting and difficult times of their lives.Dr. Markham grew up in Sugar Land as the oldest of a large family of five children, and she has always desired to raise her family and practice medicine in Houston. She is a diehard Texas Longhorn and Houston sports enthusiast, which is a passion she shares with her husband and their three rambunctious little boys. Dr. Markham welcomes new patients and referrals. When appropriate, the practice offers telehealth visits.
