Dr. Nicholson, in my opinion, is the physician’s physician. He is empathetic, attentive, extremely knowledgeable and thorough in every aspect of his area of practice. Clearly he is highly regarded by his patients, and I have no doubt that this applies to his colleagues as well. Dr. Nicholson is the cream of the crop. I will soon be scheduling an arthroscopic procedure with him; I’m approaching this with the comfort that I will (literally) be in good hands.

I'm new to this practice but found a very knowledgeable..efficient organized group of providers..Dr Nicholson is kind...very smart and explains everything you need to know to succeed in your recovery..I'm very pleased with his services and would highly recommend his expertise in reverse shoulder replacement surgery!!

He is a very professional, knowledgeable and personable doctor. He explains everything about your condition, the surgery he’s going to do and what to expect afterwards. He answers all your questions and never rushes in his time with his patient. The office staff is good, his surgical coordinator, Beth, is excellent. I highly recommend this doctor.

Dr. Nicholson did a reverse shoulder replacement in late August… he is an excellent surgeon, explains everything to you, and he has excellent bed side manner answering all of my questions…I couldn’t have found a better doctor for my surgery… He is the real deal.. I am 2 weeks out and already I am feeling so much better… do not hesitate to have Dr. Nicholson do your surgery. He is the best! Thank you

This was my 4th shoulder surgery. 18 yrs ago it was replaced and redone 3 times. Dr. Nicholson did a very complex reverse shoulder on me. It has been a journey. He and his staff are great. He responds within hours to my questions on the portal. He stays consistent with his encouragement.

Dr. Nicholson is to the point and very thorough. He repaired my bicep and took the time to answer all my questions along the way as well as explained exactly what the issue was and how he repaired it. It was only 2 weeks ago, but I am feeling better already. I highly recommend!

I am so grateful to have had Dr. Alan Nicholson do the surgery to repair my torn rotator cuff and bicep. He did arthroscopic surgery, and when he went in, he saw that I had more of an issue to deal with than he had expected originally. he spent an extra 40 minutes in surgery just to repair everything perfectly. I especially appreciated the postop visit to explain to me with photos. What was done to my shoulder so that I could visibly understand what I need to do to recover successfully. He’s very kind and gentle and thorough.

He always explains things well and is also a good listener He puts me at ease I know that he is the best and I’m blessed to have found him! He will be repairing my 2nd shoulder

My visit yesterday was amazing. The staff and Dr. Nicholson were so wonderful and he had such great bedside manner. He really explained everything that was wrong with me. He showed me the x-rays spoke to my stepfather on the phone. He just I’m so happy I found this practice and I will be having Dr. Nicholson do a shoulder replacement on me, unfortunately if the Cortizone injection doesn’t work for the pain on bone arthritis and my shoulder and cartilage damage which has developed in the past year bone bone and cartilage damage so it’s only a matter of time will need replacement.I am so confident that Dr. Nicholson will be the right surgeon to do this operation on me.Unfortunately, at 57 years old developed arthritis all over my body. It’s in my feet. It’s in my right knee in my shoulder and it’s in my neck and spine..I saw Dr Plyer 2 Weeks ago and he was also so wonderful and he’s going to be doing meniscus tear surgery on my knee soon .Seeing Dr. Gilberti in 2 weeks neck/spine

Surgery was performed on March 7, 2024. Dr. Nicholson is very thorough and a knowledgeable surgeon. His passion for his work clearly shows the moment you meet him. He is a brilliant surgeon and a breath of fresh air. His staff is amazing, kind and compassionate. They go above and beyond to make sure that you are at ease and comfortable during each visit.
