Very genuine and caring.
Dr. McAteer showed serious consideration and genuine concern for my privacy during the entire exam and on up to surgery and beyond. She made sure I understood the procedure and was comfortable throughout.

She's an artist
Dr McAteer removed a lump from my breast 12 years ago. It was cancer, but she had removed the entire tumor in the biopsy, so I didn't need additional surgery. She hid the scar below my nipple, and even I can't find it. I couldn't imagine a better result. She was compassionate, caring, and calm, and has beautiful surgical technique. I've been cancer free ever since.

Dr. McAteer was recommended to me by my primary care physician. I came to the appointment extremely nervous and upset. Upon greeting me she was casual, friendly, and down to earth which put me at ease immediately. Once she examined me and told me there was nothing to worry about a weight was lifted off my shoulders. She could see my stress and took time to discuss my state of mind. She was caring and thoughtful. I would highly recommend Dr. McAteer who is well respected and shows compassion.

She's terrific. Very dry sense of humor. Caring, pragmatic, fast, knows what she's doing. I've been for removal of cysts and infected ingrown hairs and have sufficient experience to trust her skills.
