Dr. Ozpinar was the only surgeon out of 3 that I worked with who not only immediately recognized the severity of my condition, but also took extra steps to assure that I always felt respected as a person and I felt that I was more than just another statistic.Dr. Ozpinar also has secured himself a fantastic group of staff and colleagues that work along side him. The entire staff provides fast and comprehensive care to their patients. I highly recommend Dr. Ozpinar for any procedure involving the spine.

Dr. Ozpinar is an AMAZING neurosurgeon. He performed a spinal fusion on me including placing much needed hardware to help straighten my spine so I could once again stand up, walk and live a normal life. I am just 16 weeks post-op and am doing phenomenal thanks to this surgeon. He knows his stuff!! He knew immediately what was wrong with me and knew what needed to be done to fix it. I will forever be grateful to this doctor for what he has done for me. He has changed my life. Thank you Dr. Ozpinar.

I had the most severe pain I have ever had that started in my butt and then went down both legs. I saw Dr Ozpinar who explained to me what was going on in my back and I agreed to surgery with trepidation. It was a fusion! Now my nerve pain is completely gone and I am so thankful to Dr Ozpinar. I guess he knew what he was doing!!

Dr Ozpinar expeditiously and correctly diagnosed me with a cervical tumor which was causing me upper and lower extremities weakness. He scheduled surgery within few days of our visit and surgery went very well. I am now able to walk independently and have the used ofmy arms again. I would recommend Dr Ozpinar and his team without any reservations.

I arrived with a drop foot condition, unstable on my legs and numbness in my quads with poor posture; all gone the day of surgery. Dr. Ozpinar did a fantastic job, checked up on me often, even while on vacation. He instills confidence, and has a wonderfully direct manner. Nothing but two thumbs up from me!!!

Dr. Ozpinar did the impossible and I'm walking upright again & with only normal post-op pain! Three previous specialists said there was nothing that could be done to straighten my back. Since Dr. Ozpinar performed the interbody fusion, I have gained more than 3' in height & am no longer bent over. My spine is STRAIGHT! This is a real miracle!

Straight talk, reviewed X-rays clearly. Surgeries x2 for different areas of spine: op. reports showed efficient operating times and clearly described what was done; post op course smooth, results favorable as predicted.

After reading great reviews about this Doctor, we were excited to meet him and discuss my spouses back issues. His staff was great. Well, the Doctor come flying through the door like he was in a big hurry to get in and get out. He says to my spouse 'I see you've only made a couple of PT visits'. We felt like he didn't think my spouse had even tried to help themself. What he didn't ask or know is how many PT appointments my spouse has been through in over 10 years of having chronic back pain. It was like, without us really knowing what the actual problem is, as he didn't share the MRI or any other scans with us, he jumps right in to 'Well, do you want surgery? I may be able to help you, or you could be mad at me if it doesn't help'. Again, without even discussing what is actually going on with her back. Most Doctors we've ever been to, will show you the MRI, or CT Scan or Xray and discuss what's happening. This was a very disappointing visit and a huge letdown.

Both Dr. Ozpinar and his assistant were direct, open, and caring in their interactions with my wife and me. Day of surgery was smooth, and follow-ups timely and meaningful. Immediately following surgery I was able to walk without pain for the first time in 2 years. We are now 8 weeks post surgery, and I keep seeing pain free marked improvement each week with all aspects of my fitness.

The doctor saw me on Saturday and kept me here too do an emergency surgery on Sunday. We can't express our good experience. The doctor and his nurse are very professional, caring,People. He even stopped his phone call to speak to my wife and let her know he was going to fix Rod. Then he did.We can't tell you how grateful we are. The entire staff made me feel spoiled . Taking care of my every need . If I ever need Neuro surgery this is where I will go. This is the doctor and nurse I want.

I did some research and consulted with numerous physicians about stenosis surgery. Further delay meant damage, perhaps irreparable, to the quad muscle. Through a mutual friend I was introduced to Dr. Alp and was soon convinced that he was the man for the Job. I flew considerably miles to Springfield (Eugene) OR. We had numerous discussions prior to the surgery so no surprise other than the amazing facility. Surgery was as prescribed, in by 7 out by noon & flying home 2 days later. The procedure worked wonders. In less than 3 minutes months I was down hill skiing with no restrictions…8 consecutive days! Dr Alp is terrific. Recommend him & the entire staff highly.

With apparently the knowledge and experience, Dr Ozpinar diagnosed my complex issues, performed a successful surgery and provided further follow up support that gave me even more pain relief by medical means. Complex and unique lumbar spine issues relieved. My pain had developed over a ten year period, and was looked at by a number of doctors, one including surgery, and injections for pain. Ozpinar removed an implanted device, cleaned up and decompressed L3-L4. He said my back was basically in good and stable condition. 90% of my pain is now history. I respect this Doctor very much.
