Severe and anxiety-inducing
Not good at all for patients with anxiety. Very cut-and-dry, does not offer options regarding treatment or patient autonomy, and pushes a catastrophic narrative if you ask for alternatives or do not one hundred percent perfectly adhere to everything she says. Be prepared to be sent into a panic if you do see her.

If you enjoy some good Medical Gaslighting........
One star for Dr. Austin is VERY generous, she deserves no stars. She shows no empathy whatsoever and is horrible to talk to about what is going on with your body. She doesn't listen to the patient. She will make you feel like your complaints and concerns are over the top. Dr. Austin basically threatened the most horrible surgery (which is not her place) if I continued to complain. She failed to send me to a specialist, but luckily I was able to get an appointment with one without a referral. Even the specialist agreed that I should have been seen sooner and has ordered the appropriate testing and procedures. I was in tears at my last appointment because of pain and I was treated so horribly by the Medical Assistant first and then Dr. Austin. She didn't even offer me a tissue-only said, 'Are you depressed or something?'. The ONLY positive thing I have to say about my visits is that the front desk staff are amazing. Once you get past them, don't expect too much.
