Dr. Amber Hamilton, MD

I was thoroughly disappointed with Dr. Hamilton's care at Children's Primary Care, which I found unacceptably subpar. I took my 9-year-old daughter, who has started her period, to get a doctor's note to excuse her for the first 2-3 days of her cycle to get my daughter comfortable and confident taking care of herself without me. However, Dr. Hamilton made me feel stupid for even asking, telling my 9 year old daughter to 'get over it' since all girls have periods, implying it's not a medical issue and she will not help. I'm disgusted with her bedside manner and advise caution when considering her care for your daughters.

The visit was because my son has a chronic problem with a cough and previously they told us that if there was no improvement we would return, but she didn't do anything, other than receive us with an annoying face. Instead of helping us find an improvement Well, he also didn't like the medicine he was prescribed and my son now, apart from a cough, had diarrhea with which he had more than a week.

Before going to Amber Hamilton, I was going to another pediatrician, she didn't simplify things for me very well (for someone who doesn't know doctor lingo haha), she also didn't have any fun welcoming things for the children, even something as simple as making noises to distract him. My son would cry walking in and cry walking out. I ended up with Hamilton and she is great! She is both my kids pediatrician now and I hope to have her be theirs until they're old enough. She is very quick, but not so quick that she is dismissing you or making you feel rushed, she listens, she makes my son feel so welcome and not as scared of the doctor now. Plus, the office is so quick. Everyone always answers the phone or my chart emails, the staff in there is so kind, and it is a very clean office! Highly recommend. The longest wait time I've had at this office is about 10 minutes. Also, they have specialists (my son has strabismus) that are just as great!

Dr. Hamilton is super sweet and very good with kids. My daughter is autistic and she gets very nervous. Dr. Hamilton made her very comfortable.

Not happy with this Dr. Rushes through appointments and does not take time to listen to the parents concerns.

Love Dr.Hamilton! I met her right after I gave birth as the pediatrician on-call. She is funny, caring and professional. Im a first time mom and she was the only one to reassure me Im doing good and asked about how I was doing! It is just reassuring to have a doctor who cares.

she is a wonderful caring pediatrician. after going thru a few she is definitely one of the best.

Dr. Hamilton is amazing. I really hope she stays in the area. She is very helpful and my son loves her!
