Dr. Ortega is helpful if she in the mood to be helpful. What I noticed is she doesn’t like to be questioned by the patient about her plan of care for the individual. She will talk down to her patients if you challenge her too much (and she thinks it’s cute is what I noticed). Dr. Ortega dismissed my symptoms and I ended up in the ICU for 3 days and switching PCPs. I tried to have a patient doctor relationship with her for the last 5 or 6 years and it just didn’t work for me. If you’re looking for a provider with human compassion she seems to lack in that area. Just what I observed as her patient.
