Great first appointment!
Today, I met AMRO MAHMOUD, D.O. He’s extremely nice doctor who listened very carefully and he recommended me the best plan of action to get better. Very relieved doctor ran all necessary tests to make sure he gets to the bottom of the issue. Didn’t have to wait long for labs and x-rays tests. As a matter of fact, as soon as he ordered them, he told me to go tolab and radiology and have them done right away. If you live close to East County, go see Dr. Mahmoud at Sharp Rees Stealy in Santee. You won’t be disappointed!

He is one of the best doctors sharp has to offer!! He understands that you know your body better than he does, and he's willing to talk with you and work with you on treating chronic life illnesses. And he doesn't force medicine on you!

As someone who hasn’t visited the doctor in years, I’m very glad to have found Dr. Mahmoud. Although I only went for a quick visit and it was my first time, he gave me his full attention and it didn’t feel rushed. He answered any questions I had to the best of his ability, and explained my conditions well. Will definitely be returning.

Easily one of the best experiences I've had with a doctor in recent memory, came in with a fears and concerns acute kidney failure,a week later he was able to confirm that it wasn't kindey failure just an infection but the interaction is what stands out to me the most. He let me speak my piece and pitch possible ailments rather than just talking down to me or condescending to me like so many other doctors in the past would, recommend to anyone.

Dr.Mahmoud is very professional. I had an embarrassing analfissure that I was putting off for awhile but I’m very glad he was able to take a look at it. He was not only knowledgeable but not overly strong with his academic skills in explaining. Overall felt very safe and protected and would definitely recommend a colonoscopy from him.
