Dr. Ana Mendoza, MD

I have seen Dr. Mendoza for 13 years, since moving to SD. She has helped me understand and cope with my anxiety. During that time I finished school, got a full time job, lost my mother, promoted, school again and found a new job. Throughout this time I was full of anxiety at each new step. Dr. Mendoza managed my therapy and medications.

Dr. MENDOZA IS A GREAT DOCTOR. SHE IS BILINGUAL AND BICULTURE. SHE HAS HELPED ME SO MUCH. SHE IS A BLESSING !

She was rude and degraded me when I described the anxiety and depressive state I was in. She passed judgement stating that I had bipolar within 20 minutes of meeting then detracted by the end of the same session. She is wise but very much stuck in her one-way type of thinking. She has zero regard for her patients specific needs or for their symptoms. She can be gentle during one session, then impatient and a bully the next. She is terrible at what she does. Avoid her if you have severe GAD.

Dr Ana Mendoza is the very best there can possibly be. She’s intelligent, kind, compassionate and insightful. She takes an interest in discovering all the different angles that make up our unique being before she advises on a treatment plan. Besides her outstanding abilities, she’s a worldly wise, multicultural, and well educated woman. I’m grateful to find a dr. Of her caliber.

I came to Dr. Mendoza a couple of months ago, with really bad anxiety,, and panic attacks and Dr. Mendoza is very knowledgeable in this field, attentive and compassionate to my needs, she listens and cares, I've never been rushed, through any of my appointments. She contacts me if I need her. I was put under a low dose of med and i haven't felt this good in a very long time, thanks to Dr. Mendoza! She did not want to stuff me with meds, but rather fix the issue! She's been a blessing to me!
