During my time as a patient of Dr Dellaria, my condition progressed rapidly. While Dr. Dellaria is kind, I had to move on because I was not happy with her initiative. She was not helpful in supporting me during Covid when my immune system was weakened. While other people with my condition were prescribed vaccine alternatives, Dr. Dellaria knew nothing about the options available. I switched doctors and was immediately presented with multiple options. Additionally, her office staff was horrible. They admitted to making a mistake with insurance which delayed my treatment by months. If I had access to the treatment sooner, I would be in a much better position today and would have avoided several painful, miserable months. My condition would be much less advanced. My care was disappointing to say the least.

Horrible customer service all around
Arrived 30 min early for my 84 year old aunts appointment (9am) for new onset dementia. Doctor arrived at 910. Had issues with office stating referral had expired once we were already in the patient room (945). I called insurance and they told me referral was valid. Office would still not take it. I offered to pay for appointment $250. Office stated my 15 min appt had passed since and my aunt could no longer be seen. Next available appoint was August (3 months) When we complained we were told by front staff she would be “firing” us from her office for being unruly. Not once did doctor intervene. She spouted directions from her office not once caring that we needed this appointment for my aunts well being. Andrea Dellaria does not care about the patient or their issues. She’s concerned about her schedule and the ease of the patients she sees. She was fine arriving late and felt it easier to cancel the appointment then do her job. A disgrace to the medical community.

The BEST doctor that I’ve had! She was always so kind, compassionate and patient with me. My appointments were never rushed and she always took the time to thoroughly explain things and answer any questions I had. I can’t remember there being a time where I left feeling confused or like an appointment was a waste of time because she always took my concerns and what I had to say seriously. When talking about treatments and medication she always gave me 2-3 options and explained the side effects as well as the pros and cons to each. It oftentimes felt like we were a team in the sense that she wasn’t dictating what I had to do and she made me feel like an active participant (contrary to past experiences w/ doctors). I always felt supported, understood and less alone as I navigated a new diagnosis. Now having moved 3+ hours away and having a change in my insurance I’m still trying to find a way to keep her as my doctor because she is truly one of a kind! I cannot recommend her enough!!

Professional & Understanding
I went to Dr. Dellaria for an abnormal MRI with possible autoimmune disease. Dr. Dellaria was so gentle & understanding. She answered all of my questions & encouraged me to remain positive. She also seemed very knowledgeable. I did go to two other neurologists just to get a second opinion to be on the safe side & they agreed with her assessment. I would definitely recommend her!

Great Neurologist – Jun 24, 2022

Dr. Dellaria is First Rate! I had to find a new Neurologist quickly due to my Dr. leaving to practice in another State. My past Neurologist was Exceptional (20+ years), so I was convinced I would not find someone that was up to the task with helping me manage my MS quickly. Dr. Dellaria changed that narrative IMMEDIATELY!! During my first visit with her, she was extremely attentive to my questions and concerns, and went WELL ABOVE my expectations for my visit. We spoke much longer than the appointment was scheduled for (I was her last patient for the day). I had brought my most recent MRI with me, and she took time to look at and review it with me, answering every question I had. She also asked the right questions and made me feel I could trust her. This was reinforced by the pharmaceutical company I order my medication at. I was told I had an excellent Dr. when I called to renew my script due to her making the transition for the change of Dr. and ordering my meds transparent.

Did not take the time to listen to my symptoms and became defensive when I brought it up. Very unprofessional.
