Dr. Andrei Buna, MD

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Buna for 40 years. He even delivered my two children. My sister and I moved to Ocean Grove, and we still travel to see Dr Buna and his wonderful staff. They are always welcoming, professional, and knowledgeable.

Dr. Buna is great and he was always there to listen and help me when needed. He was always friendly, sets the right expectations and discussed all the possible outcomes. Staff is very friendly too but have very minor glitches with the paperwork. Other than that, I would highly recommend Dr.Buna.

I’m currently pregnant with my second child and Dr. Buna and the office have been very helpful and kind throughout the pregnancy. Every time I’ve called to ask a question Dr. Buna calls me back before the end of the day. The office staff and nurse Arlene are down to Earth and helpful. I never feel awkward or uncomfortable in the office. Everyone is very easy going and laid back. I’m so glad I switched to this office. I had a very difficult first pregnancy and delivery and so far this experience with the 2nd has been the complete opposite. Thank you!

I’ve been with Doctor Buna since mid June after I found out I was pregnant (I also moved so needed a new OBGYN). I called my insurance found out what hospital was in my network and asked for their top doctor. They recommended Doctor Buna. I can’t tell you just how right they were. I’ve never in my life had a doctor care as much as he does. Not only does he take the time to get to know you, he gives you a sense of security every time you are in the office. Everyone in the practice treats you with the same care and importance as Doctor Buna. Fast forward to a few weeks ago, I was in the hospital with contractions, There was a complication with my baby, he rushed me in for an emergency C section. I was scared to death with all the possibilities going through my head praying my baby would be ok. Doctor Buna was with me every step of the way and it went perfect. while in the hospital recovering he checked on me and my son every day. Even on his days off! That’s someone who cares so much!

I have been going to Dr.Buna for some time now. I will say 5-6 years. In the beginning Dr.Buna was great until I kept getting BV. It was on and off. Each time I would get it he would prescribe me antibiotics that would take care of the issue for a week or maybe a few months and it would always come back. Just recently I went to see him and talk to him about it and his only response is there's nothing else he can do for me and continued to talk to me about preventing pregnancy's ! I'm so not kidding!!! his response was almost as if he didn't care and he was tired of my issue!!! My cousin stopped going to him because he pushed Birth Control to her which resulted in her having surgeries. The minute she got off the BC she was fine . All he ever wants to push is BC!! He was amazing in the beginning but, his attitude started to suck towards the end. Do yourself a favor and never go to him. A doctor that shows you their A to kiss in your time of need is not the doctor for you.

Dr. Buna saved my life! I saw Dr. Buna as a new patient. I recently moved to Randolph and needed a new GYN doctor. Dr. Buna has wonderful bedside manners. He is polite, kind, pateint and very thorough. I am in my late 30's and when I got there he preformed a breast exam and felt a small nodule on my left breast. I told him I've been told pretty much my whole adult life that I had cystic breasts. He said I should still go get it checked out and sent me to get a mammogram and sonogram. I was diagnosed with breast cancer and would have never known had Dr. Buna not recommended me following up with tests. I highly recommend Dr. Buna, from his front staff to nurses everyone here is so kind and very knowledgable.

I have nothing but respect, admiration, and love for Dr. Buna and his staff. He not only exhumes in his profession, but strives in caring for his patients. His staff is friendly and very supportive. The day after my surgery, he came to see how I was doing. It was nice to actually see a doctor after surgery; and get this, he came by the day after that. Great bed side manners. He is awesome. His staff is awesome and I highly recommend him. Again Dr. Buna...Thank you.

Dr. Buna is compassionate and caring. Always available when you need him.

About 7 months ago Dr. Buna performed Suresculpting procedure on my inner thighs. He was professional and courteous, he explained the process, discussed alternatives and expected results from Suresculpting. His assistant was thoughtful and caring, she made sure I was comfortable throughout the process which only took 25 minutes per thigh. Within 6 weeks I saw noticeable natural looking results. I would definitely recommend Dr. Buna and this procedure to anyone looking to sculpt specific parts of the body where diet and exercise hasn't worked. It is nonsurgical with no downtime.

I only go in for my annual. Very lucky to be healthy so far. I have know dr. Buna as a professional, caring and well prepared physician who has always been a good listener and a well read physician. Kudos to his effort.

I would not recommend this Doctor. I felt a mass in my breast. He dismissed it "not even part of your breast" "just a lipoma" -- I went to another practicioner " it was breast cancer".

Dr. Buna is fantastic! I recently welcomed my first child at the end of December and Dr. Buna and the entire office were fantastic from the start of my pregnancy to the delivery and afterwards! From my usual appointments to seeing me same day with any issues Dr. Buna’s attentiveness and care were fantastic! I cannot thank him enough for helping my husband and I welcome the new addition to our family with such great care and attention!!

I used to go to him when I was younger because my mother went to him. I found him rube and unprofessional. Please pick a better doctor for your health care.

After 20 years of going to Dr. Buna once a year, when I became pregnant is when I really got to experience his his poor bedside manner. I decided to leave and they are charging me $1 per page and it is taking over a month to get my records. I would not recommend going to him at all. I would say run away from him.

All the physicians in this group are extremely caring, and Dr. Buna was spectacular. They were truly great with me during my last pregnancy, giving me support and sound advise, even when we had complications. I could not recommend them enough as OB GYN doctors.

As the caregiver in crisis...Dr. Buna and his team including from the moment you walk in the door ...to the nurses on staff and experience with all the doctors on staff willing and available after hours provided me with the guidance and support I needed to help my mom get the best qualitative medical care for my mom while in the ER...additionally, my mom's crisis was ultimately, completely unrelated to any procedure or surgery provided by Dr. Buna... He and his team were there us!
