Dr. Andres Munk, MD

i’ve seen Dr Munk on many occasions. He always makes sure I am heard and he Actually helped me figure out what was going on with my back. I’ve been brushed off by many doctors, but not Dr.Munk. he helped me get to the source of my issue and now I am living life again. I feel 20 years younger.

What stood out was I had been seeing him for years. Nicest guy. Then he performed my neck surgery. After seeing his physician assistant several times, l finally got to see him. I complained about my surgery still hurting, he said he did all he could he shook my hand and said Good luck,maybe we could get you a pain specialist. He Already Had.

Dr Munk is very personable. He really listens to what you are saying. I can't wait to see him again

Not so impressed with the clinic itself on how they handle patients financial business. But that aside Mr. Munk is great doctor. A great listener. He doesn’t drive thru window service. And will do everything besides pick you up and carry you around everyday before surgery is option. After 10+ of back pain and 3 specialist later he was the first one that ever showed and explained to me what was going on with my medical issues. It gave me better knowledge on how to take care of myself better from then on out. So grateful for him for that.

Great staff, Dr Munk is by far my favorite. Will continue to use and recommend Mendelson Kornblum Orthopedics.

The first visit with this office I didn't even see him. His Physician's Assistant (Elaine) came and reviewed my history and to discuss options. A few x-rays were taken and she stated that that no surgery would be needed based on the x-rays. She ordered two MRI's of my spine (the Lumbar & Thoracic). I had to drive to Royal Oak in order to use their MRI Company. My follow up appoint yesterday (3/2/22) was the WORST experience I've ever had. The PA (Larisa) came in and said my problems/issues wouldn't require surgery and then Dr. Munk came in an said the same thing. They suggested Pain Management w/their other office, never said who I should see or if they would set it up when I checked out. They left the room. I sat (in Pain) waiting for a copy of my MRI disc and hoped one of them would come back. I asked the MA if the PA or Dr. would write me a script for a muscle relaxer since I was experiencing back spasms & pain. The MA said both the Dr. and PA had gone home. No discharge paperwork.

I loved Dr Munks “bedside manner”! He is just a normal guy! Not pushy or shovey! He talked plain English and didn’t color his words with medical terms most don’t understand. He’s a very personable guy and even though he couldn’t help me, he listened and seemed to actually care. I could talk to that man all day! His personality is a breath of fresh air!

I was having issues with my leg and back and Dr. Jeff Mendelson referred me to Dr. Monk who diagnosed me with an SI joint issue. I got the injections to confirm that was the issue, after which Dr. Monk performed the fusion. It has been 4 months since my surgery and it has changed my life. I am so thankful for both of these surgeons, Dr. Jeff for the referral and Dr. Monk for fixing me.

Spent 45 minutes in his examining room to be met by his assistant only. Never did see the jerk. Won't do surgery because I'm diabetic. He never had the guts to come in and tell me himself. Apparently, I wasn't worth his time.

Dr Munk is very professional and has a great bed side matter. Listens and deciphers the information and gives you different possibilities of treatment. I would recommend him.

Hit the nail right on the head with my diagnosis. Dr. Munk listens and doesn't rush. He takes his time and weighs all options.

A very pleasant and knowledgeable Doctor who is offering a solution to not only treat symptoms of Sacroiliac joint disorders , but make them also disappear . I can recommend him to everybody.
