Dr. Splenser being a great doctor to treat Type 1

Since being to old to be at the Texas children’s hospital Dr. Splenser has been a great doctor to fit my needs of being a Type 1. He has helped me in many ways to treat the hard disease of Diabetes and is always in touch with the newest technology to help with the disease. He is a great person and is always trying to help you to control your disease! Highly recommended Dr. Splenser

After trying three Endocrinologists I finally found Dr. Andres Splencer Not only did he take time to discuss my problem with me, but also prescribed the medication which worked wonders with my high blood sugar. Excellent, fast and accurate diagnoses.
Background; It was impossible to call the office on the phone. In fact, I called the office while standing in it to illustrate. The previous staff acted like gatekeepers. If i needed something, I had to get in the car and drive. (accounting and or medical issues)A prescription of mine was missed and I called the office. For the first time in many years, the phone was answered by a very helpful, friendly young lady that endeavored to resolve.I previously HIGHlY recommended Dr. Splencer.I now recommend the office staff as well.

Great care
Dr. Splenser is caring, very thorough with the patient, ask the right questions and does great evaluations. It took me two years, after visiting many others, until I found him. Look no further, he is a very kind soul with extensive knowledge and experience.

Happy patient
Dr. Splenser shows personal interest and guidance. He takes time to explain purpose of RX he gives me. I am deaf and he is not intimidated by my deafness and takes time to make sure I understand everything.

Amazing doctor
I gave doctor Splenser 5 stars but would give more if I could. He has always gone above and beyond to help me and always takes the time to make sure I’m comfortable and fully understand everything. He’s the best. I like him so much I recommend him to my daughter and my husband.

Dr. Splenser suggested a resouce for a matter mentioned during my initial visit for a medical issue unrelated to my visit that had been a concern for sometime. The service provided was on par with his...Outstanding! Dr. Splenser also adjusted my medication with much improved results. I highly recommend him.

A Doctor Who Cares
Dr. Splenser takes the time to go over everything and individualize your health plan for what fits for YOU. When it's important, he takes the time to make the personal call rather than give it to a staff member. His demeanor and personality demonstrate that he really cares about you as a person as well as a patient.

Great Bedside manner and Open minded Thyroid Dr.
I was looking to change doctors due insurance reasons. I read the reviews and was impressed by one that said he uses an holistic approach with his medical knowledge. I reasoned that he probably used T-3 medication along with T-4 (levothyroxine). This was important because we never could get my T-3 in range, which still caused me to have symptoms. He prescribed Armour Thyroid medication and T-4. Armour has a little of both. My son also needs both medications. He listens to my concerns and I have felt better. My son and I are very pleased with him.

Amazing Dr
I have been seeing Dr Splenser a year now. And he’s helped me get my A1c from above a 9 to 6.7. He’s one of the first endos I have seen that hasn’t made me feel awful about myself because my blood sugar was “off” a day. He gives learning points and helps you. Doesn’t be little you because of something you can’t help. I didn’t ask to become a Type 1. The only thing I dislike about the office is issues with phone calls. But I will say for 2 ladies who do desk work and blood pressures and weight. They do help and get things taken care of when you are in the office.
