Good communicator, excellent diagnosis and treatment. The surgical experience is positive and well coordinated.

I fractured my wrist and was referred to Dr. Gabow. He explained the procedure well. His staff was excellent. He truly cares about your recovery and well being.

The entire “procedure” as it is called now a days was very uneventful. Which is good when you are talking about surgery. The parking was in the rear of the building, the wait time was short and the operating room staff was great. They only thing I was disappointed in was that he would not let me watch the operation.

I like that Dr Gabow tells you the good and the bad. He doesn't just give you one option, there are several paths to take and he explains each one.

Well in formed, checks out all issues presented and has a sence of humor. I find the time spent there to be I brushed and I feel he listens to me and answers my questions.

I started seeing Dr. Gabow in 2009 for carpal tunnel issues. I immediately knew this was going be a unique experience. He is a focused and confident doctor, absolutely put me at ease without any other BS or fluff. I want the facts, even if it’s right between the eyes, at least I know what the problem is and what the solution is within moments. Dr. Gabow did and ORIF surgery on my wrist and 10 days after surgery I was without a cast and starting on exercises to strengthen it. I am motivated to do my best because he is purely motivated to get you back in the game of life. I highly recommend him.

I love Dr. Gabon’s friendly, down to earth approach. I broke my wrist in two places and required surgery. He got me in to operate within two days of seeing him, thoroughly explained the procedure, and provided excellent follow up. His staff is wonderful. I would recommend him to others.

Dr. Gabow is a straight shooter. Addresses the concern and provides paths to treatment. Takes into consideration you as a person and makes sure that you know the potential implications, me as a volunteer FF, he wanted to ensure that I was aware of time off it would require before I could safely return to duty. I trust the guy and put both my hands in his care and I would do it again!

Dr. Gabow is the most down to earth Dr. which puts me at ease and helps with communication! He doesn’t have a superior attitude like so many Dr.’s out there which can be intimidating. 3 years ago he did trigger finger surgery and just the other day he did two more fingers! I highly recommend him!!

Dr Gabow expertly removed a cyst from my hand and it healed perfectly.

Treated my 23 year old son for fractured radius requiring surgery with plate and pins. Thought he was awesome, straight forward, answered all our questions, timely and friendly. Felt very confident and comfortable in his ability to repair. Great results!

I was referred to Dr. Gabow after 2 previous Dr's didn't know how to fix my wrist because of how bad the fracture was. I even had two previous surgeries from these docs with all sorts of complications from them but it was still not fixed. Dr. Gabow performed surgery by putting a plate and 7 or so screws in to hold the 7 small pieces back together. I'm still recovering but I'm finally typing , lifting things and using my hand for all sorts of stuff that I wondered if I'd ever be able to do again!

This man is the best. He's served me three times: all for Dupuytrens Contracture. He's professional, compassionate, knowledgeable, informed, friendly, fun, and inspires confidence. I moved to South Carolina recently and wish I were still in CT so I could have him check out my new "issue." Seriously, Dr. Gabow is outstanding! I love this man. This is what a doctor should be.
