Dr. Andrew Haber, MD

Great Doctor that gets right to it and doesn't waste your time. If you want to get help from someone that gets right to it and addresses the issues, I cannot recommend him enough.

Dr. Haber is a kind, compassionate, provider with a vast range of expertise. Highly recommend for children and teens! While safe medication management is a top priority, Dr. Haber understands the importance of implementing coping mechanisms, family tools, and proactive behavior. In short, he embraces and fosters total mental health! Cannot say enough! Excellent!!

I'd like to preface that I don't want to discount the positive experiences that other patients have written about, or vilify him. This is both my honest experience with Dr. Haber and constructive feedback for him. When I explained the research I had done, he repeatedly interrupted to explain that neurotypical people also present these symptoms, which I was aware of, but unless he'd listened to the full story, he would have found out the mountain of evidence pointing to said condition. Because he didn't show empathy and ask clarifying questions, I learned more through free Internet research than this $650 hour I sat through. We are still disputing the $110 post-insurance charge. Overall, until Dr. Haber commits to learning and practicing active listening and about the racial bias in diagnosis of psychiatric conditions, I would not recommend him to family and friends. Overall, I walked away from my "therapy" appointment on-edge, invalidated, and cynical that I would ever be diagnosed.
