Dr. Andrew Lambour, MD

Dr. Lambour performed out patient PD catheter insertion for me. It was a disturbing experience to go through but he made it so much easier. His 'bedside manner' was top-notch , he answered all my questions and had great empathy for what I was going through. While the surgery is generally routine, going into dialysis is upsetting, and his attitude and understanding made it so much easier. The surgery was very successful and I am so glad to have had him as my doctor. I would highly recommend him and Doylestown hospital in general.

Dr. Lambour reviewed my cat scan detecting an irregularity in my appendix. Thank goodness he saw it!! He provided the most cautious steps needed, in an exceptionally timely manner, prior to having it removed. He removed the appendix, which was later biopsied to be cancerous (LAMN) without any spillage. Leakage could have caused the cancer to spread. He contacted me while on his vacation to give me the biopsy results and his staff provided follow up care. I am extremely grateful for Dr. Lambour’s expertise and steady hands.

I had several gall bladder attacks before going to see Dr. Lambour. He was very thorough when explaining what would happen during the surgery and put many of my fears to rest. I was able to get the surgery scheduled relatively quickly. He came to see me before the surgery and after the surgery. He has a great bedside manner and was very encouraging. The surgery went very well and he did a great job. I would highly recommend him.

I was very fortunate to have had Dr. Lambour take care of me. After our initial meet and greet, his demeanor of not rushing, careful listening, belied his extensive, exceptional surgical skills. De. I brought my husband to the emergency room with stomach inflammation and perforation in February, 2022. We were blessed that Dr. Lambour was on duty because he promptly did emergency surgery and literally saved my husband's life! His post-op care was also top notch!
