Outstanding surgeon!
Dr. Nguyen is a magnificent doctor. He has been caring for our mother for the last year. She has undergone two successful surgeries with him at two different hospitals!! He has stellar staff! Sylvia, one of the nurses ant his practice, always check on how our mother was doing pre and post appointments and surgery.

Awesome Experience!!!
I have BPH. I had gone to another Urologist and was told I was going to need some pretty invasive surgery. I switched primaries and saw Dr. Nguyen. The office handled the appointment flawlessly AND QUICKLY. And they are a very busy office. I saw Dr. Nguyen, he interviewed me, saw the data from my previous Urologist and put me on medication to reduce the size of my prostate to do LESS invasive surgery. I had been on a catheter for almost 2 months. I was able to remove the catheter, but I will follow Dr Nguyen's recommendation. This Dr. KNOWS what he is doing.

Stay away
Terrible doctor with no manners and who screamed at me for telling him he's ripping me off for charging me for a pre-op. I filed a grievance against him. Stay away like previous patient stated he will take your money and time.

Waste of money
Although my tests showed no results and therefore the doctor had no option other than refer me out, that's not the issue. What is the issue, is that I had to pay $40 co-pay to be told something that could have been given to me over the phone.

Disappointing appointment
I was diagnosed with IC 15+ years ago. I called to see if Dr Nguyen did the bladder installation treatments and was kept on hold to get the answer. I was told yes and rushed in for the appointment as soon as they could see me. Dr Nguyen questioned my diagnosis several times and then told me he, along with most doctors, do not do the bladder installations. He offered a surgical procedure instead. He questioned other treatments I have had and told me several times things had been done incorrectly in my past for this diagnosis. Ultimately it felt as though he was talking down at me and in the end, he couldn't help me. I wish I knew he wouldn't do the treatment before wasting days waiting for the appointment and paying the copay. It was a complete waste of time (even though I checked in advance if they did these). Additionally, the office has a mask policy and he kept his under his nose and mouth the whole time. It felt just as hypocritical as the way I was treated the entire appointment.

My mother is seeing Dr Nguyen for her urinary infection and incontinence. He is a kind and patient physician and made my mom feels very comfortable from the first moment she met him in his office. He explained everything to her in words that she could understand. I'm so glad that she was refered to him.

My mother was treated for an UTI, when we came to see Dr. Andrew Nguyen. She was in extreme discomfort, Dr. Andrew Nguyen was kind and patient and took great care of my mother. We appreciated how things were handled promptly and professionally. We would greatly recommend Dr. Andrew Nguyen for his care. When reading other reviews, I don't understand how anyone could paint such an untrue character of Dr. Nguyen. People are unreasonable and angry when they don't get their way...what a sad world that we are living in!

I don't know how good (or bad) he is. I gave him this rating because of his office policy. I made an appointment a month in advance but they messed up and the receptionist could not find my appointment. She said that they have an office policy that even patient with appointments may have to wait up to two hours. I arrived at 10:30, my appointment was at 11:00 and she told me that I need to wait till 2:00 PM to see the doctor. I told her that this is not acceptable and I left.

Dr Nguyen told me I couldn’t have IC because I was too young It turns out I have IC. In addition he made me feel awful for not being able to urinate in a room with 4 other people. He really made me feel bad and I was in a lot of pain. I found a good Uro who is wonderful with IC in the Valley. IC is hard enough and hard to talk about at least a first. Dr Nyugen was zero help across the board.
