Dr. Andrew Siekanowicz, MD

1. I was not given option to take xray with other radiology center on my first visit. Xray was taken in the doctor office. After the Xray, I did not had a chance to view the copy of the xray . Also doctor did not discus with me about the xray and further discussions/diagnosis after xray were focused only based on MRI that was taken 8 years ago. Not sure why Xray was suggested by Doctor. After a lengthy discussion with the person in charge, I was asked to pay to get a copy of the xray. If they have given me an option to take xray with other Radiology centers, I would have got the copy of the xray without paying any extra money. 2. Based on doctor prescription, I took MRI. Result of MRI were discussed only based on Radiologist report and not with the MRI image in front of me. I was not convinced with the explanation and not enough time spent to explain where the problem. My chiropractor used the MRI image and explained me where the problem with a model of the spine.

Dr. Siekanowicz is by far the best Orthopedic surgeon in Maryland and giving him 10 stars would make more sense. I had bilateral rotator cuff surgery due to my car being hit. Never in my life had I gone through anything so horrific. I spent over 2 years in his care. I'm so grateful and appreciative for having him as my surgeon. Dr. Siekanowicz and his great physical therapists Tony and Meera took great care of me. They made sure I understood how important it was for me to "follow" his specific instructions to prevent a retear of my rotator cuffs. Trust me, the doctor knows best! I want to express a HUGE thank you to Dr. Siekanowicz, Ms. Linda Peyton and the entire Silver Spring office staff for being so kind to me and being there when I needed them the most. I recommend Dr. Siekanowicz 100%! You will NOT be disappointed. Thank you, Rita Madrid

Visited this office multiple times throughout my injury and every time staff were awesome, friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Siekanowicz is a VERY excellent doctor who went above and beyond which was greatly appreciated on my end. Would definitely recommend to all. Also, wait time isn’t long whatsoever which is great.

Brought my child in because he had sprained his ankle in school. Dr. Siekanowicz was the attending doctor. Dr. Siekanowicz was great with my son he was very friendly and made my son smile a couple times building a great repour with him. My son was examined very thoroughly and it shows how much Dr. Siekanowicz has experience with kids and is just a great person. I would highly recommend him especially if you have kids.

Dr. Siekanowicz is an amazing doctor. I went in for back issues and Dr. Siekanowicz took his time and was very thorough with his examination. He did not rush and was able to figure out what the best steps were to make my back pain better. I like his methodology and it shows that he has many years of experience. I highly recommend him for all your bone aches and pains.

I can HIGHLY recommend Dr. Siekanowicz to anyone who needs a doctor who cares. Without Dr. Siekanowicz I would be in a wheelchair today. After a very bad accident the doctor on call advised that I will most likely never walk again. Due to my extremely positive experiences in the past with Dr. Andrew Siekanowicz I insisted on him. Without hesitation Dr. Siekanowicz took charge. Because of his compassion and experience I'm walking, running and skiing as if the accident never happened.

Terrible! He started my first appointment well over an hour late. No apology. Totally disinterested. Never once made eye-contact. Cut off my explanation of my injury. Had me Xrayed twice. The second time, I booked for the first appointment of the day, at 7:30 am, to avoid a long wait. He was still 40 minutes late. No apology. Had the wrong part of my hand Xrayed. When I reminded him it was my wrist, not my thumb, he was clearly ticked off and demanded to see my referral information. I reminded him he had it, not me, from my first visit! He looked at it and sent me for a second X-ray. No eye-contact. Cut off anything I tried to say. Unbelievable. "Come back in two weeks, and we'll start physio-therapy." NO WAY! A total waste of time and money! I'm letting the fracture heal on its own. I have never had a doctor as bad as this! Shocking!!!!

Very knowledgeable, spent a lot of time with me (causing the long wait in the wIting room?), good listener, never felt rushed. Garbles his words a bit so I had to ask him to repeat some comments. But, unlike so many surgeons, he didn't recommend surgery as the solution to every problem, which is reassuring. Nurses were attentive and helpful, front desk staff experience was mostly good.
