Dr. Aneri Patel, MD

I would NEVER recommend Dr. Patel to anyone! She is the most uncaring and cold doctor you can find as well as being very clinical. I had unfavorable bloodwork come back and when I asked to have a referral to a hematologist, she looked at me point blank and said, 'Frankly a hematologist would laugh at these results!'. I still asked for one anyways and she replied the bad findings were probably from a medicine I was on but I wanted a referral anyways in which she said she didn't want to write one. I still pushed for one and she finally gave me one after asking three times! When I went to my hematologist and I told him what she had said, he looked at me and said, 'I would NOT laugh at this! These are serious labs.'. When he performed further testing on me he found that I have a serious life threatening blood disorder. This is one of SEVERAL disappointing visits I have had with her and this type of negligence is unacceptable!!

DR. Patel was my doctor at LSU Health Center in Shreveport Louisiana. Really hated to see her move on, she was the best doctor/intern I ever had while I was going to LSU. Really miss her!

Upon my first visit, she rudely asked why I was there and then proceeded to act as if I were a bother. She didn't take my medical history or ask any questions. When I asked about certain things, she basically told me she didn't know. No exam - nothing. I wanted to have an established PCP but she is not it. I want someone who cares that I am there, listens to my concerns and understands my medical and family history. Not rush me out the door. And I still don't have an answer on one issue. I would never recommend her.

Dr Patel and her staff are very professional , yet warm and friendly . They are on time and do a thorough job . Dr Aneri has also always answered my Questions in my chart or by phone promptly . She is an advocate for women's health and it shows .

Dr. Patel is my p.c.p , she has always been attentive, knowledgeable and can access my symptoms and has the best treatment plan in minutes. After talking to her for 5 minutes I knew she was very smart and would make a great primary care physician for me and my fiance' as well !!

She is warm, compassionate and a good listener. She is very knowledgeable and up to date.

Dr. Patel did not help me with my serious health concerns. She is young and inexperienced. She was not clear when communicating with me but acted superior. Most importantly, she was not at all sympathetic to me or my health condition.

I had a great experience with the staff, Dr. Patel and the visit overall. The actual appointment was quick, but I had plenty of time to explain my situation, talk about what treatment I had received, and together, we put together a treatment plan.

Very calming and attentive!
