Personable and Skilled Doctor
I would not go to anyone else! Dr Ciminello and his team are attentive, thorough and skilled. My husband and I have both been treated by Dr C for numerous sports injuries and his thoughtful approach to patient care is bar none. I’ve had 2 knee surgeries @HSS and thought it couldn't get any better, but Dr C exceeded all expectations.

Outstanding Surgeon & Team!
I cannot give Dr. Ciminiello and his rockstar team (and I mean everyone at Orthoconnecticut) enough stars!!! Dr. Ciminiello, his PA (Dr. Ackerman), Dr. Wolfe & staff literally saved my right leg from potentially being amputated after being highly misdiagnosed at Somers Orthopedic Surgery Group (by Dr. Stuart Styles). Dr. Ciminiello stepped in with the utmost care, immense knowledge and determination to get me back on both feet after a life-altering injury which I can with incredible gratitude say that he accomplished all the while easing my mind & answering all my questions (even over the phone) and rooting for my recovery every step of the way! If you want professionalism, talent, some much needed laughter and all around excellent care - make an appointment with Dr. Ciminiello!

Shoulder Orthopaedic
This doctor to the time to listen to my concerns. He explained the xray. My problem wasn't shoulder related and he still gave me the time.

Total piece of garbage through and through. Was floated through providence college just like he was floated through medical school and residency. Just like sucking off your coaches makes you a baseball player, doing the same must make you a doctor. BACK TO SCHOOL, 'godfather'.

No, I would not . I made 4 appointments to see Dr. Ciminiello & the first 3 times I was relegated to his Physicians assistant which delayed my getting a correct diagnosis which caused me to loose over 4 weeks of work due to excruciating pain. When he did finally see me he showed very little compassion or concern.

Unfortunately, this doctor didn't listen to me or didn't believe me when I told him I had pain after surgery. He suggested I get another opinion instead of seeing me through the healing process.

Terrible. More than likely damages more patients than helps , especially if they are baseball players. Never made it himself, unless parading around providence college in a baseball jacket and self-anointing himself the "godfather" of pc baseball counts.

I am so glad I had consulted a good friend in the industry on who to go to for my broken collarbone. The words "best orthopedic surgeon he had ever worked with" were said, and I soon knew why. Dr. Angelo Ciminiello got me in immediately and explained everything that was going with my shoulder, and the options I had. It's one thing to be a surgeon who is just going through the motions, but Dr. Angelo has such passion and care for his patients that he takes the time to explain the science and biology behind the injuries and how best to treat them. Here I am close to 6 months out and have been back to my active lifestyle for a couple months now. Everyone's injuries are different, but I am so glad I went through with the surgery. Thanks again to Dr. Angelo and the whole team at OrthoCT for providing me with the best experience possible with their treatment and care.

I injured my shoulder from a football injury in the fall of 2018. I saw Dr. Ciminiello in early December 2018 and because of my circumstances, Dr. C and his staff were able to schedule my surgery for the next day. I was beyond grateful for their efforts and for being so accommodating with my unique situation. I went in for a checkup with my physical therapist today, just over one year after my surgery, and my physical therapist said my recovery and surgery could not have gone any better.

Horrible I would not recommend him. Misdiagnosed my daughter said it was patella femoral syndrome. Numerous follow up appointments.physical therapy,MRI He dismissed any other possibility. Took her for second opinion Turns out she never had patella femoral syndrome. It was ganglion cyst.. Unbelievable Luckily my daughter is in good hands now.. Horrible just horrible

Dr. Ciminiello operated on my shoulder over a year ago after a bad fall and a ruptured rotator cuff. I was very nervous going into surgery but Dr. Ciminiello, his Secretary Cherie and PA Peter Ackerman are such a well oiled machine and answered all of my questions with ease so I had no doubt that I had made the right decision. After surgery I was so happy with my progress and extremely pleased with how it all turned out. Exceptional care is definitely true with this team. I am good as new again!

Dr Ciminiello treated my golfer's elbow for 18 minutes nags, then operated when I eventually chose the surgical option. As an RN I feel I hold fellow medical professionals to a higher standard, & those standards were met & exceeded by Dr Ciminiello, his PA, and the excellent nursing staff at their surgical center. My only problem was with the front desk staff at the office. They could be a little more patient centered and less focused on socializing with each other.
