Dr. Anila Mustafa, MD

I switched recently to Dr. Mustafa. I absolutely love her. She was thorough with me and has reduced my diabetic numbers by finding the correct dosages of medicine for me. I was scared to start with a new doctor, but so glad I found her.

Dr. Mustafa was recommended by my cardiologist and she was the rudest doctor I’ve ever seen. She wouldn’t listen to was I was trying to tell her, she repeatedly asked me why I was there after I had tried to explain why she kept cutting me off! She was very unprofessional in speaking poorly of my other practitioners and when asked how much weight I had lost completely dismissed that I had lost 30 lbs. she told me it wasn’t enough but didn’t bother to get my history. If she had asked my history she would know that I have been working really hard to lose weight for the last two years, with no result, so 30 lbs was a big deal to me. She was completely insensitive and I 10/10 would not recommend her!

Recently I visited Endocrinologist Dr. Aniol Mustafa in New Braunfels for a thyroid problem. It was such a pleasant visit with her and her staff. She is incredibly sympathetic, practical and an absolutely kind person. She also treats Diabetis and Obesity Nutrition. I highly recommend her.

HORRIBLE. I was rushed, told that my blood work “didn’t matter,” & the doctor was unable to answer multiple questions regarding my blood panel results. The doctor was frustrated, which led to her rushing me out of the door. I told the doctor during our first appointment that I was going to kill myself because I wasn’t going to live this way anymore & she verbatim said, “that was fine.” The doctor also gave me test results with incorrect information, which she lacked to notice but took me 30 sec
