Patient of Dr. Casaubon for many years.
I first went to see Dr. Casaubon many years ago when he first started in Austin. I had a nodule in my thyroid and after seeing another specialist who sent me away without doing anything, I decided to see Dr. Casaubon. Not only did he give me medicine right away that cured my problem but he has been such a wonderful and caring doctor ever since. He also sees my sister-in-law who also says that same as me about him. He is so knowledgeable, welcoming and spends time to answer all your questions. I know he is hard to get in with now but if he ever has openings I HIGHLY recommend him. I am blessed that I was able to get in with him those many years ago.

Best endocrinologist in Austin
I swear by this doctor. He doesn’t rush you, asks all the right questions and makes you feel like his only patient. He has my thyroid meds right on target and is now treating my low bone density issues. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Simply the best in Austin – Sep 30, 2023

Dr. Casaubon -- OUTSTANDING!
After being treated for Hashimoto’s by my primary physician and not being able to stabilize my thyroid or the side effects (hair loss, dry skin, fatigue, weight gain, etc.) I decided I needed to see *the best* doctor and found Dr. Louis Casaubon to be one of the highest rated in Austin. I have now been seeing him for over a decade. Dr. Luis Casaubon quickly helped me get TSH levels in check and resolve the issues I was having. Dr. Casaubon partners with me to offer his expertise and medical recommendations coupled with medication and, most importantly, his counsel and coaching on how to listen to my own body to tune in and observe how I feel so that I can play a key role in collaborating with him to be at my best. I give high praise to him and his office staff for their patient communications. Every time I get labs done, I quickly receive in my patient portal Dr. Casaubon’s review, response, and recommendations. 5-star review and very high praise to Dr. Casaubon and his staff!

I have seen him for more than five years for thyroid problems, low D vitamin and low B12. He is compassionate, always takes the time to explain everything and he remembers you even when you only see him annually. I never have to wait more than ten minutes. I think he is an extraordinary doctor.

This was my first visit with Dr. Casaubon. I found his mannerisms to be very calm and professional. It has been a long time since I've found a doctor that doesn't try to alarm you, or say frightening things. He took the time to chat, and have an actual conversation with me. I highly recommend him!

He did not follow up with TSH tests after a thyroidectomy. My TSH was too low for too long and i lost significant bone density, which caused two recent compression fractures of the spine. He was good in some ways but needs to follow up with his patients. Am seeing another endocrinologist and bone density is finally improving significantly. He is also monitoring my thyroid.
