Unprofessional
Dr. Thawani and her team were very unprofessional, lack compassion, lack sympathy, made uneducated assumptions, lack communication skills, and lack the ability to retrieve medical records. I had several opinions for my peace of mind.She had her navigation nurse to call to fuss at me about having second opinions at multiple facilities. Eventhough I thought it was disrespectful, I calmly explained to her that I did it for my peace of mind. I also stated that the PET scan and a CT scan were the only images I have had at another facility. She started to name other hospitals that I have never been to. I told her it must been an error. A week later Dr. Thawani wrote me a long email ( didn't call like a professional should have) fussing about the same thing the I had already talking to the nurse about. She demanded me that I get paper records and CD from all of the facilities ( including ones that I have never been to) and dropped them off at her office before my appointment.

Extremely knowledgeable and Caring Sugeon
My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer mid 2023.. we were refered to the care of Dr Thawani and at the time did not realize what a blessing this would be.. Dr Thawani's compasion and empathy is unmatched by any medical professional that we have ever worked with.. She was patient and thorough through our myriad of questions, and gave us a sense of peace in the treatment she provided.. As a husband, I couldn't have been more pleased with the care my wife received from Dr Thawani..
