Dr. Anne Hogsett, MD

She did not think I needed a neurologist even after having one my whole life and having a health condition that requires a neurologist and still didn't think I needed one after several strokes. I am in my mid-20s she thought my strokes were just a random weird thing and that I just needed to lose weight.

She automatically assumed I spent my days eating tortillas...she recommended “Mama Lupe’s.” I assume because I’m Hispanic. Funny thing is I rarely eat tortillas...probably eat them as often a Caucasian person. I had severe pain in my shoulder and find she prescribed a psychotropic med...which I thought...was a script for a strong ibuprofen. Which...by the way she never called in. Even after my four attempts. That is when I inquired about the type of medication she WAS going to call in. We are not all Barbie size and depressed about it.

I have never had a doctor who is more caring than Dr Anne Hogsett. She has treated me in ICU and in her office. She’s listen to my concerns and always provides the answers. I appreciate her more each time I visit her office.
