Would definitely recommend
Dr. Picone has been terrific about explaining his diagnoses, treatment, and opinions, and doing so in language that is easy to understand. I appreciate the time he takes ascertaining that I understand and am comfortable with what we are discussing, and that he completely answers my questions. Yes, there are often long waits, which can be frustrating and annoying. However, when he does see you, you have his complete attention.

Awesome Doctor
Dr Picone understands me and my issues and I am totally comfortable with him. When he speaks to me he makes sure I understand where he is coming from and makes my decisions much easier. And when I speak to him, he listens. There is no judgement on his part and this is much appreciated.

He has been my surgeon throughout my experience with cancer. He is very knowledgeable; very understanding of concerns; quite helpful and an excellent surgeon. He is very conservative in his approach, which I find very necessary when dealing with cancer. Highly recommended.

Dr. Picone is a skillful surgeon and great doctor. During my diagnosis, surgery and follow up visits, he has consistently been professional, kind, and willing to spend the time you need to understand your situation. I feel very confident under Dr. Picone's care. Some reviewers comment about the long wait in the office. Most likely he's giving another patient the time they need, and will do the same for you. Cancer care requires compassion and understanding.

I saw Dr. Picone both in the hospital and his outpatient office. He did not give me the answer I expected, but was very professional and gentle in explaining his reasons. Surgery discussed not from my cancer, in remission for 23 years ,but all the damage from treatment and long term side effects, make surgery for a serious infection too high risk. I trust his decision, even though I wish it had been different. He appears to be a man who cares for his patients very much.
