My mother has been a patient of Dr. Arun for over 20 years. In the last year my she started having dementia issues. Her memory has become much worse to the point I had to hire in-home care for her. I have the Power of Attorney for my mom and I'm listed to become her Health Care Agent after receiving letters from 2 physicians stating that my mother is no longer capable of making her own medical decisions. My mother's neurologist had no problem sending me the letter. I've spent almost 2 months trying to get a simple response from Dr. Arun. I've called the office weekly for 6 weeks. I have faxed legal documents and the letter from the neurologist to them 2 times and have confirmation that they went through both times. I have yet to get a call back from anyone in the office. I've offered to bring her in for an evaluation or to have Dr. Arun call and talk to her. Still nothing. I work for a physician group in another state and can tell you this is extremely unprofessional and uncaring.

I called for my wife when I saw what blood work
My wife's last blood work showed 80 glucose and A1C 5.8 and we had nothing to compare it to. I called to ask them to do a complete panel including A1C and Glucose. They told her the insurance may not pay again even though we told her we would if needed. I called yesterday and asked again and said if it cost to have that full test, we will pay. All she had to do is fax me a new order to take to LabCorp or call them or I said I can pick it up. Instead, they said, my wife can make a telehealth visit Saturday and I said that is when she made her appointment for the lab test. I am sure she would have changed the Lab Order, but only if she could get an office visit charge by phone to do it. It seems many doctors are now abusing the telehealth charges which in time will double if not triple health care costs. I went to that office months before to see another doctor and after seeing that other doctor less than five minutes, I walked out! I did not know it was the same office until later

The staff are pleasant my complaint was with Dr Arun. I finally met her after 2 prior appts. w nursing assistants . First time actually seeing Dr Arun the appointment took a little longer due too updating medical issues and 2 prior appts. ( I’m disabled ) only to find out was billed $40 for xtra time ( wow ) . Was bitten by a tick w rash ( my disability is chronic Lyme ) met with her assistant who had limited understanding of disease . After checking w doctor he gave me 2 pills of doxy after my 6 yr fight of Lyme I knew that 2 wasn’t enough. When asked to see the doctor for a minute to insure amount was right (was told too busy with patient )when asked if she could follow up was told go see infectious disease doctor ( wow ) how about can u wait until I’m finished since the assistant had limited knowledge. On medicine related issue the ofc referred doctors that we’re not taking patients, my pharmacist told me I can’t go off this medicine. I’ve already switched doctors. Disappointed!!

Me, my sister and my younger cousin have been seeing Dr. Arun for the past 3 years. Every time we make an appointment, it's always some confusion with the front desk with our paper work. Personally, I have been referred to an MRI and have been misdiagnosed with Arthritis, when I actually had a hip injury. I had to end up seeing a orthopedic, because the Physician assistant had sent me to an MRI location that had misdiagnosed me with osteoarthritis! Also, for my younger cousin who needed an immunization form for school, Dr. Arun's office signed her form wrong and said she was positive for TB, which she never was. They also made her take the wrong test and she had to go back and get the right test done again. For my sister, she took a blood test, and she had irregularities in the blood test and she didn't call her to update. Overall, during our appointments, she rushes us and doesn't really listen to our health concerns and might not have taken us seriously because we are young adults.

It's all about billing which every which ways, money motivated for service non-covered by medicare/insurance, by using LabCorp for billing, etc; the office staff had been searching for added codings to justify the charge of the outstanding bill since 12/05/18. still unresolved to date.

i agree with the previous comment that this office is very money motivated. My favorite physician has left because he was aware of this, every time I go there is a new physician or nurse working who does not care about the patient. They do not give referrals easily, they want you to come back for a second visit so they can make more money.

The office staff is nice enough but it clear that they are deceptive and money motivated. Husband saw doctor in December. I needed a referral to PT in May. They refused stating that he needs a full physical. I stated that AMA no longer recommends them. They responded that Medicare does. That is not true. Medicare pays but doesn't recommend. Also will only renew prescriptions with Quarterly visits. Profit not patients are the motive.
